We attended a small sheep butchering workshop hosted by Brandon & Lauren Sheard, where Dylan was also a participant. He’s a fascinating guy. We’re super excited to watch this.

Great content. In the 60’s & 70’s , there was a community of Basque Shepherds that would graze their herds in the central valley in the winter and move to the high Sierra Nevada in the summer. I guess they are still around???

I grew up in agricultural Ventura County, Camarillo specifically, and love to see this be another great aspect of the overall picture. I would love to see a LOT more it turn to a more healthy, regenerative permaculture, like Apricot Lane Farms in Moorpark. Thank you for this intro video and the full length as well. The reason why the wildfires are out of control is because of poor land management. the native Americans used to burn and manage with livestock. But even in our area, it is so overgrown and thick and closed canopy.which also drives out wildlife.
Unfortunately Environmental Groups is a giant road block that are ready to SUE to get their way.
