It’s cuz he leans his shoulders forward on the shot. If you watch every great shooter shoot, they always lean their shoulder backwards when they’re in the air. It relieves tension when you do that. Nick does the opposite, which is why his shot looks so awkward.

Just like how 1v1’s at parks are now only inside the paint. Nobody allows the shooters perimeter shots and ball handlers can’t utilize the full space of the half court
