- Hey Guys!
Glad to be back in action after dealing with “the virus.” Here is 3D Car Care’s BEAD IT UP. It’s a super hydrophobic topper!
If you’d like to see water beading, chemical resistance, and a more in depth look let me know in the comment section below!
Thanks guys!

I picked this up about 6 weeks ago here in the UK. Id been using a similar product thats made here in the UK and id been happy with it for the past 5+ years so never bothered changing. However, on trying the Bead It Up i have to say im converted. It leaves a lovely wet looking glossy finish, makes the paint feel so slick and as you say slippery, and it has ok durability for something so easy to apply. Oh, and it smells amazing and using indoors leaves a lovely fresh pineapple kind of aroma around the vehicle. Its a little bit more expensive than the product that i was using so i wont use it on every car but i will keep a bottle for my own vehicle and my higher end details. Its a really nice product.
Awesome!
Great review. Been seeing this product down at my local 3D in Compton/Long Beach but never got around to getting until I saw your review. Will get some tomorrow👌
Thanks! Yeah I definitely recommend the product. You’ll enjoy it! Also be sure to show them the video.
Let me know if you have any questions!
looks like a good product especially at that price point.. I am not a huge believer in chemical resistance tests.. the king of them is SnS and in my experience only last a few months... but cheap and easy its still good ...
And if you get a few months with minor prep, that’s really good! Sns is a tremendous product
This better then seal n shine
That rim cleaner you was using is that safe for all wheels I have a set of 3500 dollar wheels I would hate to mess them up an got a link for it if it's safe for all wheels
No it is not safe for all wheels. If they are clear coated you are fine for sure. If they are polished aluminum or any sensitive wheel then I wouldn’t recommend it.
Wonder how it compares to bead maker does it last longer like the Hydrophobic Shine slickness haven’t used anything other then bead maker easy to spray spray on the panel buff in with a rag then buff off and let it cure for 6 to 8 hours or use it as a drying aid which I also a well 2 to 3 sprays per panel
great video and product review Beau.hope ur feeling better since having covid. v well and stayn safe buddy
Thank you!
Yes I full recovered and am back at it!
Take care!
How often can you use this? Can you use it after every wash as a drying aid? I use Optimum No Rinse and tend to wash our vehicles every 2 weeks, sometimes every week if it gets a lot of bugs and dust. We live near farmland and construction.
You can use this as needed. It won’t hurt a thing.
can i use it as a drying agent?
Yes you can
How does this compare to P&S bead maker? shine and slickness.
Bead Maker is better in both of those by just a little although Bead It Up has an easier application...
This will last longer than Bead Maker.
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Bead Maker is only good at being a dust magnet.
Bead Maker or 3d. Which is a better buy as a choice?
So I go back and forth. I’ve been using Bead Maker again. Mostly because it provides UV protection. I’ve adapted my method slightly to help with direct sunlight application. Bead It Up is a tremendous product though!
Do you dilute it?
You can but it’s ready to use
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip I purchased it in a gallon bottle, is that still ready to use?
@DiamondDetailingBuzz should be unless the bottle says different
Great video buddy tfs
My pleasure!
Nice video.. you seem more real world than other paid for review channels. Not everyone has a fleet of various color vehicles or able to use black cars for everything. Seeing the faded headlights is what made me think, "This isn't staged". Don't ever apologize for it, tell people flat out that you are like many others real world reviews working with vehicles in real world condition. But apologizing for the wind noise is definitely ok.. lol
I appreciate you mentioning this. The whole purpose of this channel is to find methods and products that work for the mobile Detailer and the everyday enthusiasts...
Yea sorry about that wind 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I tried this stuff and it made my ceramic coating dull. Threw the rest of the gallon in the trash.
Interesting!
I haven’t noticed that, although I haven’t used it in a while. Maybe a formulation change? I used it on some coatings that were beginning to fail and it worked well in bringing back the characteristics of the coating. Of course every coating has its own characteristics, for the most part
What’s the wheel cleaner? Good work
Thanks!
Superior Products Rage or now Dark Fury
Alpha Caramic Abrasive technology used in their ACA line, and 3D ONE is a pretty huge innovation. Not many companies have the means to innovate these types of products.
True, they don't have the super slick marketing, or fancy packaging that give the impression of innovation. Their stuff seems more utilitarian in where it's marketed.
I use Bead It Up as a stand alone, and it's holding up great this winter. Better than most traditional liquid sealants I've used in the past, maintaining it's sickness, water behavior, and repellency. Very impressed.
As far as the UV? Why in the world would you take info from some distributor, than from the chemist? Doesn't make sense. Call Tunch. Ask him.
My point wasn’t they don’t have innovation, but that their innovation isn’t real “catchy” or yes you can say they don’t have great marketing...
3D One is in fact a decent product but let’s be honest, people don’t care about the shape of abrasives and there are other one steps that get same results.
Glad your having great results with it! I do plan to keep it on hand!
When I say corporate is saying one thing and a distributor is saying another, I’m not saying that Tunch is a liar. I’m saying I saw a generic post from them (not Tunch) and one time they mentioned UV Protection... There hasn’t been enough “marketing” from them to solidify whether or not I believe it has it or not.
Thank you for watching through the whole video! Sorry about the wind 😆😆😆
Its a great product :) you need to polish/sand your headlights. Looked a bit foogy. :) keep them coming
Unfortunately the client isn’t interested but I agree!
Thank you!
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip i wouldnt like to drive in the dark with that 🤣 but clients can be like that :) i know
I live my life in 4D ... do they have something for people that live in 4D?
Nope only 4k
Thavage
I wonder If glasses come with a purchase of this.
What applicator is that?
Auto fiber ...
I but then in packs of 12 for roughly $24
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip the mini or thin?
Thin...
I’ll do a review on some accessories soon
Can’t watch..head lights look bad…….
Oh they’re terrible lol.
If a client doesn’t pay for headlight restoration though, they don’t get it
