The lyric is demonstrating his struggle with belonging, because although he’s biracial and not fully white, he was judged based on his appearance and didn’t feel accepted in many parts of the culture. Despite that, he does fully acknowledge his privilege and understand that he’s had different experiences due to looking white, the lyric was just making a point of him still being half black, not saying white privilege isn’t real.

Yup sums it up pretty well. Except when kendrick does it he's considered controversial for making the song by the media and attacked for it, while logic recieves nothing but praise for it (not saying that kendrick didn't get praise too, but it was mainly the black community/fans).
It's the same thing that happened with Eminem for the longest time people demonised rap because all it talked about was sex and glorified gang violence and white people despised it. Yet Eminem could make tracks where he's literally talking about raping and killing people and he's able to become the best selling hip hop artist of all time because of it (again not saying that Eminem wasn't attacked by the media too I'm just pointing out double standards). You completely missed the point. Look at the time when Eminem blew up, late 90's early 2000's when the bling era was starting to pop off.
The media dissed rap and rappers left right and centre and white people dragged it in the mud saying it promoted violence, was misogynistic etc. Yet em while he was critiqued was able to make songs like Kim and kill you and it didn't hamper his career the same way, because even though it was negative, because Eminem is white he was able to get away with it more.
His stuff was considered more "controversial" and "edgy" than anything, when Eminem was blamed he wasn't responsible for the whole of the white community no one blames Eminem for columbine or school shootings, yet rappers to this day are routinely dragged by the media and are presented as the sole factor for black on black crime in America.
But something tells me your just another one of those ignorant morons who screams that white people aren't privileged and white people suffer too and blah blah blah so I don't even know why I entertained this with a response.
