Seriously? They're were showing actual real life examples of the deceits and tells from presidents and politicians. How could it not be cancelled and over shadowed by a competing show. The Mentalist, which competed and failed to beat, did not show actual human reactions and responses as this show did. It actually finalized and he found the multi-season killer, but it had to continue to over shadow this one.
Underrated moment is when her co-agents come to the scene. You can tell they’re far more proud of Torres than they are jealous. Now those are good friends to have. Reminds me of Good Will Hunting.
This series, Band of Brothers, House MD and Sherlock (BBC version with Cumberbacth and Freeman ofc!) is pretty much the best that has been produced for television, ever.

A firm that works with feds? Oh yeah that’s easy money in real life. Firms of that nature that have expertise outside the FBI or CIA are always paid handsomely for helping even a little bit.
Actually cal lightman the character is obscenely wealthy he just doesn’t flaunt it except for bits and pieces of hints you can see in the episodes. Artifacts, equipment art etc.
A little, but Cal is the expert role and more dominant in this case, but they're both the "smartasses". Gillian is softer than Kate. Their dynamic can be similar though.
I highly doubt only an infinitesimal percentage of the population is amazing at detecting a liar, I'm not good at reading people but a lot of people are.

First 2 seasons were great. The 3rd season was garbage. I'm glad it was cancelled after that one.
The best thing about this show was the title, "lie to me" and then the show lies to you about it not being based on real people.
