People are really stuck in the past. I get it. The Spice Girls were a huge part of our childhood and it was much too short, but they've grown up and moved on. I'm actually surprised Emma wants to reunite with new music despite everything that's happening. I guess the real reason those 3 girls want to reunite is because they don't have solo music careers anymore. Melanie may not be a huge success as a solo artist but she does it because she has passion for her music and shouldn't have to move backwards in her career and start making music where the artistic vision is shared with so many others. i respect her for it and she has a right to have any opinions she wants. But do remember that the Spice Girls ended over 15 years ago, anything else you are grateful for and we have no right to demand anything.

I agree. I don't keep going back to work at my first job every few years. I've moved on. Eventually less and lesss people go to high school reunions because people graduate and move on with their lives. I think some of it is the fact that she can make music on her own and also a personality thing. SOme people like to live in the past and revisit their glory days some do not and some people crave the limelight and some are happy to step in occasionally.
I love them all collectively as a five piece. Yes, we'd like a 5 piece reunion BUT, Emma has performed Spice music, so has Geri and recently, so has Mel C. The Spices performed as a 5 piece, 4 piece and have been interviewed as a 5 piece, 4 piece, 3 piece etc.. Emma and Mel C performed 2 Become 1 as a Duet a few times. Does that mean it's not a Spice song? No. If three girls want to tour this summer and perform, I will be there!

A recent poll in UK confirmed that the three most appreciated Spice Girls are #1 Emma #2 Mel C and #3 Geri confirming my personal experience that I had in the 90's, those three were the most popular in that specific and exact order. However in USA Victoria is the most famous one followed by Mel B. TheMichaelCW is right, without Mel C and Victoria a reunion would easily flop, coincidentally the trio didn't succeed in making the tour and their song was essentially a destined flop. Not only Mel C is hugely loved but she's the best all-round talent in the group (singing, performing, songwriting) and Victoria, as already explained, is the most famous.

I wouldn't call it selling out - fans have been asking for a tour since 2016. They can't exactly force Victoria to do it. I'd feel like it would be selling out more if Victoria agreed knowing she didn't really want to, and was just lip-singing or not into it, especially since her fashion line was allegedly losing money. The Wembley tour last time around was great and Geri wasn't there.

First off, just because one of them have left it doesn't mean that the others should have given it up too, most of all considering the the one who left was the weakest talent. Also, they had to continue due to a contract. Plus, Melanie was urged to do the Forever album, she wasn't really glad to do it, especially because she obtained the most exciting Solo success at that time and she had to get through an eating disorder. Quite sad considering that Forever is an amazing album and that Mel C voice is astonishing in it.

I agree that Spice Girls is 5 of them, when geri left 4 of them were incomplete and something was missing but at the same time, I feel that as they decided to go on with 1 missing piece in a different way, today GEM can decide to be SPice girls as 3 and still working well and be successfull in a new different way. Vic and MelC are talking too much about it...if u dont wanna be a spice girl anymore, just don't do it. U made the Reunion tour, U made the Olympics...it's fine. The otehrs can still work as 3 pieces, hoping to get new music and not just old songs again, bcs that was enough in 2007.

Well, first off, she doesn't owe anyone to completely put her life on hold for a year-long tour...Mel B after all is / has been on AGT for sometime now and would have to leave that for at least a season...And in regards to Mel C, she is now active on the Broadway Stage, did and maybe still doing an excellent job of playing Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Superstar...Check out "I don't know how to love him" on YT...And lets face it, the younger generation probably have never heard of the SGs and would rather go see an Arianna Grande concert....
Let's not forget , after Geri Left they released another whole album as the spice girls with a VERY important "jigsaw piece" missing , they still called them selves the Spice Girls then, this is no different and I wish them all the success ..

I can guarantee they couldn't do a world tour like before without all five lol. I adore them, but you couldn't pay me to go see an incomplete spice girls concert. It would be too painful knowing i wasn't getting the full experience.

First off, just because one of them have left it doesn't mean that the others should have given it up too, most of all considering the the one who left was the weakest talent. Also, they had to continue due to a contract. Plus, Melanie was urged to do the Forever album, she wasn't really glad to do it, especially because she obtained the most exciting Solo success at that time and she had to get through an eating disorder. Quite sad considering that Forever is an amazing album and that Mel C voice is astonishing in it.

Mel B is a greater performer and more talented than her. she made some selfish and uneducated choices. people won't support like she thinks. she's a good person, but shitty decision maker and extremely selfish in my opinion
