If you had to do it all over again would you have checked the car seat in or still taken it with you for baby to use during the flight. We’re a family of 6. We have 10 month old twins (they’ll be 16 months when we pcs to Japan)
check the car seats!! i would get the blow up foot stools that’s people find on amazon so it lays out into a bed for the little ones. my 1 year old slept almost the entirety of the flights and the hassle of getting the car seats onto the planes was so annoying and stressful! definitely would check them next time and get the extra foot stool so they have room to lay and that be it! good luck!!
Prepping for a PCS to Korea and happen to come across your video. When you mentioned Knoxville I was like WAIT!! We’re from East TN! Glad y’all got over there safe!
Am I right in thinking your family is US Airforce? I ask because the mention of Iwakuni had me putting 2 and 2 together. Long story short - My Dad was in the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) in Korea & after his passing I came across a photograph of him and a friend standing at the Iwakuni Bridge. Now I'm figuring that his maybe 1952-3 he was on R&R from Korea & must have flown into Iwakuni for his break and landed at a US Airforce base. That's as far as my detective work has got me. Looking forward to finding your Part 2.
Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is where we’re at! that’s very cool that you have that picture and are finding out his story. it’s a beautiful city with lots of history and visitors. thanks for watching the video!
the patriot express only had a limited number of pet spot available and they filled up fast! definitely get your pet(s) on the list. you may also be able to switch flights if there’s a pet opening on an earlier/later flight if your original one was full. hopefully we’ll get him here soon!
What they provide for you If you Rom at the House? I will be there in February. If I want to ROM at the house like you. Do I need to bring bedding with me?
talk with your sponsor! our sponsor had bedding, pillows, and blankets at the house for us. so i would talk to them first! but we did bring our own towels and bathroom necessities. there’s always someone to help so reach out if you need it! thanks for watching!
You are a riot!. I totally feel this. I've been there as well dealing with nightmare pcs flights!
