Drove 500 miles in the '77 F150 Shop Truck to Piece N Grease's Car Show - Waynesville Ohio

- This is the furthest north we have drove our shop truck (1977 F150) and it is one more state to cross off our "visited list". We had a long weekend of driving to get to and from Ohio but we had a great time connecting with fellow youtubers.

I wish more RUclipsrs were as honest & transparent as y’all. I know there’s been a few times on road trips I had just enough money to get there & back. I just had to pray no unexpected expenses came up!
Thanks! We are often in the same boat. We’ve debated back and forth whether to talk about that kind of stuff; mostly because we were slightly embarrassed about it. Most of the time it is the deciding factor whether we go to events and why we are often slow about getting builds done. We hope one day that will change but for now we do the best we can.

You guys always have some cool stuff in your videos. I live in Oklahoma, had so many classic cars in my younger days, 71 442, 64 Econoline pickup truck, 66 Pontiac 4 door Bonneville, 64 Chevy C10 long bed, 74 Chevy Monza, 74 Dodge Monaco(think Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane's Police car in Dukes of Hazzard) among others I don't totally remember, and if I had one now I would try to go to some of the places and shows I see on the channels I watch. I miss going to a lot of car shows due to physical ailments, can't walk much. I enjoy seeing you all having a great time though.

Seen your videos anyway I'm just another Ga Red Neck I'm from Laviona Georgia .No I don't do RUclips myself but I do watch it a lot since December of 2022 I've not missed a day I don't think. I totaled my 2011 Camaro I fractured my back in 3 places plus 2 heart attacks .so I'm disabled now so I have enough time to watch RUclips . Tim's statement that We RUclips for friends and not money I have to disagree with because anyone who is monetized is doing it for the money😢
We don’t make enough money from it to do anything . It doesn’t even pay for itself.
Odd opinion honestly!
The time we put into creating content takes us away from our real jobs and actually cost us money. RUclips is a side thing for us and it allows us to meet the people we have.
We started doing it as a portfolio to showcase our work for potential customers (we are a shop that is open to the public during the day) but then it changed for us into doing stuff that we actually enjoyed doing. We have met a lot of really cool people and made connections because of our channel. One day we hope that we can get away from customer work on focus heavy on Daniel's skillset of getting "junk" to run again and "will it make it home" videos.
I wish I made enough off of RUclips to actually cover the cost of the project vehicles & parts I film for RUclips videos lol I started my channel as way to get my wife & kids on film so I could have those memories forever. I never thought my “home videos” would lead to making so many new friends. Before RUclips I was extremely introverted but through the years of meeting people from YT & reading the positive comments on my Videos it has helped me be way more comfortable in my own skin.
