DIGITAL MOTION XRAYS is how its diagnosed . DR hauser from Florida explains this all and where i learnt about upper cervical instability etc . I found a chiropractor here in Toronto who does the Digital Motion xrays so im thrilled .

@jaimonga hi . I started seeing Dr Serge Lanoue in Mississauga . Did a consultation with him and he said I didn't need the digital motion x rays. He sent me for regular spine xrays and he is treating me for my C1 & C2 That Are out of position/twisted . He is fantastic !!! He works w a chiropractor who does the Digital Motion xrays if he feels they are needed .
@@lovelv1278 Did you develop this issue after covid? Mine seems to be related to that and I am finding it hard to hold up my head.

Would wearing a neck brace and symptoms ease up let you know if that was cci?

right? Most MDs have never even heard of this. They look at me like I'm crazy. It's good to know I'm not.
They all looked at me and said, "But you've never broke your neck and your imaging only shows loss of curve." You don't have to have a broken c1 c2 to have cci!!!

Thank you! I’m sharing this with as many people as I can! I wish I could find a doctor to begin with. My son’s MD who is mold/Lyme specialist, mentioned to us that this may be a possibility. I think he does, and I’m scared. I may call you guys tomorrow, but we can get him to Mayo as a charity case, so we may go there if it’s a possibility.

How can I guage severity? The first list of symptoms I have every one of them ? And much more and what happens with this type of injury when youve had a severe concussion at that time and another since?
I was seriously injured by a chiropractor and have had this 2 years. Its to the point i stay in bed for a week at a time. 7 drs later and still no diagnosis
I live in Tennessee and no dr I have seen believes in CCI/AAI. I have hEDS and horrible neurological and physical symptoms and am losing my ability to walk well and fear soon I will lose the ability to walk at all. Ive been to all the major hospitals and seen over 13 drs for these symptoms as well as had SO MANY CTS, XRAYS, vestibular testing, and MRIS! My genetic dr 100% said I have it but NO OTHER DR HERE agrees with it and wants to treat it.
No money in the cure, I suppose.....🙄😮💨
Go to an upper cervical chiropractor, they treat and diagnose upper cervical instability.

Is it true that a Flexion /Extension scan with movement is required for diagnosis? I was sent for said scan but ended up not getting it with movement just Flexion then Extension. I also have Chiari Malformation and Cervical Stenosis C4,5,6 The outcome was no CCI though I didn't get the scan I needed.
Are there any specialists you trained in Southern California? I am trying to find DMX and specialist near me.
