When I middle drag AI flakes to Coat Normal, the connection editor pops up but I've tried and tried and it won't let me connect the two. What am I doing wrong?
Hmm I've just been able to achieve it in a fresh scene so not sure why it won't do it in yours. You could try pressing the + next to outColor and coatNormal then connect the outColorR, G & B to the coatNormalX, Y & Z and see if that works? Or I'd be happy to look at your scene if you wanted to email it over?

Do you mean you want a different base colour and then a coloured glitter on top?
