Better is go to your own doctor,.
That horrible realization that you are The Other Picard version of you in this timeline.
Get out of my head!
Omg I thought it was just me.
Tapestry is one of the best pieces of television ever
I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger but this reminds me that going back and fixing things might not play out the way I would want if granted the opportunity.
This is my absolute favorite TNG episode because of the life lesson it taught me. It's the Butterfly Effect, Star Trek style.
Tapestry and Parallels are gold
Much of the info in this comes from Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 6, Episode 15 "Tapestry"
Such an amazing episode. TNG truly was the peak of the Star Trek franchise.
This channel is literally so awesome to understand complex timelines and story plots and it deserves more attention. Keep up up what you’re doing because it’s awesome!
That was a bloody good episode. Nice to release this after Picard as it’s a nice inspection of the character.
Loved this channel since it started. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot! This is one of my favorite episodes of the show
I loved this episode!! But just one of many!!! Picard is the MAN!!
Awesome, just as I was looking for something to watch!! Love your videos, thank you
Hi you’re amazing i love everything you make
This was a great episode and a good test of character for Jean-Luc Picard and a really good Q episode also this was a great video by you
Thank you for making this one. I think the story rings true for everyone. Thanks again, good for the spirit.
I saw Tapestry right afer your first Picard video. enjoying each one of the new recaps :) Picard E01 was quite good, move me 20 years ago TNG style
One of my favorite all time episodes "Tapestry". Situations like this are only possible in a show like Star Trek. People really shoot themselves in the foot by not watching it only for fear of looking like a nerd, which, I don't suppose is as big a problem these days, but, in my day, when these shows were still being watched on cable television, that's how it was.
One of the best episodes ever
Fantastic video! Tapestry is my fav TNG episode.
That intro song is usually on a sasquatch channel i'm subscribed to hehe. I thought I clicked on the wrong video.
Great video
I rather die as the man I was, than live the life I just saw.
Pls make a full series about Mahabharata u will find it interesting
Can you please do more star wars time lines on certain characters? Ones that aren’t just with lords and stuff? Or perhaps you did idk
Here is a playlist with all my Star Wars vids so far, maybe you'll find what you're looking for. ruclips.net/video/mNKOW862uBc/видео.html
Great video. Good thing time travel is impossible for real, otherwise we'd all unravel the threads of life
Love your videos!
Young Picard's story sounds way more interesting to watch than old man Picard.
BLASPHEMER!
Shout out to Ronald D Moore for writing Tapestry.
I wish today's Trek were as good as this.
Only Episode 1 of Picard is out currently and it was a good episode. Let's wait and see how it goes.
But, the film making style of 2005's are now long gone. No more shall we see slow moving cameras with focus on multiple characters.
I recommend the fan show Star Trek Continues. You can watch it all on RUclips.
Yeah, Picard made an alright first impression. Not too action focused, nice character development and world building, very respectable for a pilot. I wonder though if they have good solutions for all the mystery boxes.
Star Trek Continues is brilliant. Orville also had very good offerings for the first two seasons. Modern shows just seem a little shallow - I miss the deep cerebral and philosophical stuff they did on TNG and DS9 once in a while. I keep my fingers crossed they'll bring it back.
I want to get into star trek but this whole bloody timeline mumbo jumbo is making my head explode. HELP PLEASE!
Whatever happened to dr. Polansky
Whats the episode ? need to rewatch
Tapestry season 6 episode 15

LTJG Jean Luc Picard was "punctual" according to Commander Riker.
Good video! But hey, FYI- it’s pronounced AIRheart. Like, named after the great female aviator? It’s not the heart of an ear 😘
Basically if Picard was a Dudley Do Right who always played it safe he would become Barcley.
"You? God? I refuse to believe that the universe is so badly designed!"
why don't your drawings ever have pupils?
I just like the way it looks without them, not much more to it than that.
@@CivilizationEx have you thought of printing a book of them? id total buy a book of your star trek related drawings
That might be fun to do some day, but I would probably make it an ebook and give them away for free. I wouldn't feel right charging for them.
@@CivilizationEx well, i think they're worth it! I won't say no to a free ebook of course but an option to buy prints or physical book would be great
Lesson learned: Always have Gramba.
CivEx!!!
I'm going to be "that guy" for a moment.
"I would rather die as the man I was; then live the life I just saw."
This is a care where "then" vs "than" is super important.
The way you wrote it (listed above) would mean that Picard was fine with his altered life and is fine dying in the original timeline; so long as he exists in this altered timeline where he's a lowly Lieutenant (j.g).
I know. I know. It's a typo...but one that changes the meaning to the exact opposite of intended.
Q never befriend The Sisko. The Sisko punched Q in the face. Q so shocked by this. He had his little fun and left. All to never return. OR maybe I am misremembering.
He appeared to Sisko and befriended Janeway
Despues de ver el video me da la sensación de que "alguien" viene de familia española hehehe
It's a great episode but, I always took offense with the idea of " _If you aren't an obnoxious asshole who constantly get into the faces of people and hurt everyone you love, you'll never get anywhere in life_ " message.
You’re completely missing the point if that’s what you think the message is. It’s not an endorsement of bad behavior. It’s simply acknowledging the fact that whatever decisions we made in the past, for good or for bad, have shaped who we are today. That’s not something to regret. It’s something to be grateful for.
T59
"the other picard" is the one in the new series that is angry that people dont want to join the collective.
Well that makes a change from the usual VPN/shitty mobile game sponsorships.
I’ll take play it safe blue shirt with a real heart Picard over this one we have now from CBS.
Empty nerdrage.
Watch the show, then judge.
Until then, Shut the fuck up and go be angry at something that actually matters
@@Emanon... Something that matters, like someone asking an innocuous question!
@@anndra8687 Clever. Except it was a conclusive statement about something they have no idea about. Criticizing empty rage and telling people to stfu until they have something worth saying is not quite the same as blabbering off on a show we haven't seen, is it?
@@Emanon... And neither of those is the same as simply asking what was wrong with it.
@@anndra8687 I think you've gotten it wrong.
I was replying to the OP who apparently rages against ST:Picard before even seeing a single episode.
Hence my comment.
Guess who's getting plastic surgery to look like a Klingon! This guy :)
Video or picture or it didn't happen
Meh, this just a cheap old episode recap, no great Picard insight here. The video that did an overall recap of his whole career was good, more of that, please. Maybe a video on all his interaction with Data next and everything he taught him next time. This was just too small in scale.
Did Dr Crusher have a Miradorn barber?
