Когда разноцветные кусочки ткани собрали из геметрических фигурок, получилось неплохое восприятие изделия. А вот в сумочке однотонные темные элементы раздражают восприятие. А ведь какие красивые ткани с мелким рисунком могли придать изделию свой эффект.

It's probably fusible interfacing or fusible fleece. It adheres with the iron. Available in fabric stores and Amazon and some department stores.
What type of sticky backing did you use for the bag?
