emotional ❤a deep sense that these were not "just" Fred Again's words, but that they had been made into Ren's words.
Fred Again is way more upbeat (like EDM). So Ren really made this into his style
I really feel like Ren made these words his and i think we all felt that

I don’t know the originals, but I am here for anything Ren does and this was beautiful. The artistry to take EDM tracks and make a mashup so emotional is incredible. Ren has music in his soul and puts so much soul into music and his performances.
I can't stop listening to this performance. It might be my favorite Ren performance ever. It's so beautiful.
This song touched me. The “I’ve been lost, but I’m trying” that touched me so! His singing is so beautiful and his guitar playing is amazing. I love hearing him singing. I can’t see people cry.. that small crack in his voice is where I tear up.. just makes me want to hug him ❤

When he hit the “I’ve been lost for a while, but I’m really trying”, that hits me so hard because I’m there now. Have been for a few years. I just make the decision every day to keep trying. An easy one to find is NPR Tiny Desk concert.
Really everything but his tiny desk set and any of his 3 studio lives are amazing to ease into if you aren't used to electronic music. After that his boiler room set is an amazing display of the more electronic side.
"I've been lost" is the line that sticks. The one Ren grips & won't let go. Great mash up & one that will send a lot of people to try Fred Again.

I just have to say, I absolutely LOVE watching your Ren Reaction Videos! His music hits me in such a way, and I see it hit you the same too. Your reactions (physically) are so spot on and appropriate, for the depth of his music. And the moment he started with the "I've been lost" part of the song.... OMG, we can see exactly when it hits you. I had to back up the video, just to watch that moment again. That portion of his song keeps making me cry, it just hits so hard emotionally.

When Ren sings the line I've been lost for a while, he looks away towards the sickboi logo/neon light and the camera shifts focus from Ren to the logo and then back to Ren. It happens the first two times he sings that line. It is subtle but brilliant. A nod to his illness.

Ren can evoke emotions you didn't even know you had.
I didn’t realize I was traumatize by how hard I’ve been trying and how lost I’ve felt in many instances of this life roads, sometimes you just feel you don’t know what you are doing but you have to keep trying really trying. It is so hard but it pay offs, that last part always breaks me and tears can’t be hold back it is kind of therapeutic.

Great reaction as always. Long-time sub. I really felt this as well. I truly believe that music is the sound of the soul. Ren does an astounding job of reminding us of that every time with his amazing ability to articulate and convey every thought and emotion. He smashed it again! While yet again, he is still either coming off or still in recovery of his last hardcore treatment. Sometimes, I just wonder what fuels that degree of resistance or if it is one of those situations of not feeling like you have a choice and simply refusing to give in. I'm genuinely curious. I've been through extreme situations of both. However, I have been struggling much like he mentioned. Obviously, I am not taking anything away from Ren's experience as I know every experience is different for every person. I have the utmost respect for Ren and everything he does and continues to do.
