great reaction. you don't expect a mash up of edm songs to hit you, but the way Ren weaves them together and makes it his own is amazing, not to mention that it's a whole friggin journey.
Just heard of Fred Again today ( lol no pun intended) and HAD to look him up. Big player on the U.K. scene as he is credited with producing "Ed Sheeran's 2019 No. 6 Collaborations Project" and several others BTW. I then watched Fred's Tiny Desk Concert on NPR radio ( its only like 1/2 an hr but WOW )and OMFG...So yeah...I'm replying before I watch your reaction. After reading comments in several reactions I feel less alone in that I cried about half way through and was utterly wrecked by the end. Ren has a way of connecting with his listeners on such an emotional level.

One thing I like about your reaction videos is you appreciate both the musicianship and the emotions in Rens songs, I usually hate reactions where people try to play along as they don't really pay attention to the feelings in the music, just the technical side of it, but you are able to do both 👍

PS. I did watch this before trying to track down the original by Fred Again. I had never heard of him. So now what little I've dug into it I'm pretty impressed. It seems to be the case with Ren I end up discovering unknown jewels because he either samples / covers something or sings with them. I'm not sure if I just run across it all on its own I would have necessarily paid enough attention to recognize what was all happening.
The resonance Rens voice whether he is rapping or singing is all over ther place but somehow he manages to hold the notes and deliver beautiful vocal control. I've never come across another artist that has managed a deliver a vocal in that manner... I still can't get my head round it! Without a doubt the most talented,creative and not to mention the most likeable artist to come out of the UK in the last 30 years... we are truly blessed!

if you listen to him and how he arranges these songs especially live acoustic. he knows how to get close and personal, very intimate with the listener, almost talking and with what im talking about, is the subject matter, he hits the heart gets quiet and pesronal and then go extreme singing and pushing hard. it invokes emotions in us.

I was here a lot at one point and it was all when I discovered Falling in Reverse as well as Ren. I have always appreciated your openness you're willingness to express your emotions and be real. Very uncommon it seems that much needed. I've always cared about myself that I cry for commercials I cry good things I cry any kind of emotional type thing and even though sometimes I'd like to be able to stem the flow I have also decided that I would much rather be that way in the opposite. In regards to how he is able to create the cracks in his voice, Ren mentioned in an interview one time that he learned a lot of those techniques through Chris Liepe's channel. I love the control he has over the rasp in his voice. It adds emotion but still sounds amazing!

One of Fred again videos that goes along with one of the songs in this mashup has text at the beginning telling about how he has fallen in love and the person was really sick well he was doing all the shows. That little rendition for me is nothing compared to how he expresses it but it's worth finding showing him split between the two worlds and being on the phone all the time. Party and music then sitting on a bench out of the way trying to hear on the phone.
He completely sideswiped me at the end. Love sharing new Ren with you, I always hear something new. Sending you a hug, and hoping life is kind to you this week. ❤
