For whatever reason, I used to hate 'In Between Days', until I heard the live cut off this show. It's strange in a way, it's not even particularly a spectacular version of that song, by any means, it's just something that happened. Not sure why.

Con Boris William el sonido de The Cure es otra cosa,no como ese malazo de Jason Cooper,pésimo baterista,tan solo escuchar cualquier canción con Boris, me hace sonreir pero de alegría. El testarudo de Robert persiste en retener a Jason,para qué me pregunto,es que ha Robert ya no le interesa The Cure y piensa solo en el retiro ? Sería lamentable,debería volver Boris "el maestro" o " the perfect "y echar Jason o cambiar a otro baterista.Jason Cooper es aburrido y no es creativo,tan solo debería de imitar a Boris nadie le pide que crea nada ¿es tan difícil imitar al maestro Boris ?,está servido pero Jason no lo aprovecha. Boris Williams era un baterista potente,sabía cuando tocar con fuerza sus baquetas en los tambores de sonido mayor a menor,los solos o dorre - mi- fa etc el sabía desplazar el sonido de su batería con armonía precisa.El sonido de sus platillos y crash , jugaba y exprimía el charles a su gusto. El charles en algunas canciones como " big hand " sonaba como un llanto,hacía él que la bateria hablara. Daba lo que los fans queríamos escuchar,él lo sabía,guao era increíble baterista. Actualmente,con mis 51años despues de mi trabajo en el mundo inmobiliario,ahora pocas veces,me pongo a revisar el sonido de su bateria en estudio y las comparo en vivo, la diferencia no es mucha,claro que en estudios hay muchos equipos y micrófonos que ayudan mucho al sonido y los sonido elevados o bajos de la batería,muy diferente en vivo,son solo los micrófonos que inclusive pueden dañarse por cualquier cosa o muchas veces el escenario grande o los conciertos a campo abierto,no ayudan a una buena acústica o grabación,antes hasta llegado los 90s , The Cure no grababa mucho los conciertos en vivo,se necesitaba hasta un año para presentar un disco oficial en vivo,solo existe el "Entreat" live grabado en el London Arena en1989,sin
Tolhuarts en los teclados. Es por eso que valioso material en conciertos en vivo The Cure ,se perdió o no hay muchos registros.Larga vida a Boris Williams. Bb
augusto mamani mamani Lo más patético de Jason es que ni siquiera es buen imitador del gran Boris Williams. Yo sería mucho mejor baterista que Cooper. (modestia aparte)

+augusto mamani mamani. Yo odiaba a Jason desde el Swing Tour en 1996. Veinte años despues me doy cuenta de varias cosas. Primero, Jason es muy bueno, siempre lo ha sido, su tecnica esta fuera de discusion. El problema es su sonido. Boris sonaba mucho mas profundo, mas potente. Pero no tiene nada que ver con la tecnica.
Segundo, el pobre Jason no tiene la culpa. Es Robert el culpable. Es Robert el que decide todo en la banda y ha sido su decision dejar a Jason y permitir el sonido de bateria patetico que tenemos que aguantar, lamentablemente.
Como reflexion les dejo el caso de Roger. Muy buen musico, el cual fue echado a patadas dos veces por Robert, el jefe de la banda.
Es problema de la bateria es Robert, no Jason. Me duele decir...
+augusto mamani mamani. Como punto extra, les digo que yo era muy pequeñ cuando Boris estaba en la banda y por lo tanto nunca lo vi en vivo. En 2004 fui a dos conciertos en California y les puedo decir que Jason en vivo suena genial. No se por que, pero en vivo suena como un baterista real jaja nada que ver con la mierda que escuchamos en las grabaciones...
+augusto mamani mamani pienso exactamente lo mismo, no puedo entender porqué Robert lo eligió y porqué siguió... Es el baterista q mas años lleva en la banda y me parece tan horrible, cómo toca , y su sonido... Todo lo toca igual, chato, sin matices, con esas bases feas que quedan tan mal... Inexplicable...
