AutoWrap owns their own washing station. Those are special bristles. Not like a normal car wash.

Can’t believe you start off this video by taking a Porsche through a crappy commercial car wash that scratches cars . Pretty much know that this is crap work coming up.

I preferred the original color, I think that wrap makes the car look cheap, not impressed at all
i wrap cars too and the " brushed " gold film they used gets really distorted by heating and stretching it that much , in the end you can even see it lifting up allready around the mistlights , they use a technic of stretching that is too much for the film really , but if the customer likes it then all is good
btw peircing the film at that level of stretch makes it open up for more air , we never pierce the film in carwraps , never ever
what can i expect to pay to get a full wrap on a 911?
Never seen any other wrapping video where they pierce into the vinyl to release air bubbles. I would have thought that would not be good for longevity...

we always do that, it is usual in that job, cannot be avoided, impossible not to get some bubbles

I might be wrong here but i assume that most air release films avoid this. Maybe not for special films like this.
air release does absorb bubbles through air channel, but sometimes when there too many air trapped in one spot, air release could only do so much releasing air, especially when the vinyl's been heated/stretched.

Agree. Just awful color choice. I fast forwarded so not sure if the plan was to complete it or leave hideous 2 tone. I’m selling my turbo and a kid called musing about wrapping it as he didn’t love color. Intrigued at cost and look so I’ve been poking around the internet. Some look quite Good ( wrap material key) .. this one yuk. No comment on the guys that do it - just a crap color. Porsche gold a million times nicer.

No one else has and issue with the brush auto washer? Car not hand washed? No polishing? I would pass on this shop. Scratch city. No slip agent used much of the time?

You took the long way to wrap that door. If had left more material down at the bottom you could pull straight down and glass almost the door with one pull instead using the squeegee on every inch to lay the vinyl.!

Würdet Ihr mein Auto so Stümperhaft Folieren, ohne die Anbauteile zu entfernen, würde ich diese Leistung nicht bezahlen. Echt schade das man so unqualitatief an einem Porsche arbeiten kann.
