This was a very well done video. You should consider posting more videos like this as you have a very good voice and speaking style for these kind of videos. Your editing skills for someone who doesn't have a lot of videos is good as well. I would recommend investing in a mic as it was really hard to hear you when the car was running. Thanks for taking the time to share.
Thank you for taking the time in watching! Also appreciate the feedback, I strongly agree with the suggestions.
Just for the record, yes it’s good to have more oil than less in the engine. But don’t go past the full mark if you can help it. Too much oil causes problems too. Last time I over-filled my oil was on a Jeep, and it overflowed into my air filtration system and affected how everything ran. (Air doesn’t travel well through an oil-soaked air-filter...)
Your suppose to use 10w 30 the owners manual says to only use 5w30 if the weather is 60 degrees or under
Your wrong it takes 5w30
5 30 is thiner it cools off faster for hot weather.
It’s preferred to use 10-W30 but it can run both
0:26 and some closed-toed shoes for safety
Good video but you should only hand tighten the oil filter otherwise it's really hard to get off the next time
Thank you becaz I am tired of being overcharged for simple labor or feeling like I have to accept sexual harassment from a street mechanic in order to be helped. I really don't mind doing it myself and skipping the bullshit. It sucks to be a woman sometimes.
I have this same car. Why do my oil filters keep blowing off ? My car has always had regular oil changes and has ran like a new car until my last oil change and this issue with the oil filter began. Could something from the old filter b stuck n there ? I can't see getting a bad filter twice n a row. Lady on her own to fix this one.
Nicely done. If you still have the Buick Lesabre, I would really appreciate it if you could demonstrate how to change the spark plugs next to the firewall (the ones in the back).
They are difficult
brown people don't work in sandals challenge: impossible
I appreciate the helpful video, very well made! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Great video.........ouch! 20000 miles..thats a big no no, but you know that:) The nylon string holding up the skid plate is classic. Cut it back a little and you wont see it!
I also have a 2000 LeSabre Custom w/ 90000 miles. She in need of constant TLC but thats OK, she's my go to commuter!
You take care of her, she will take care of you! Good luck!
I buy extra filters, remove the gaskets and marinate them with silicone tire shine in a baggy. A few months later they’ve absorbed enough that they tighten and unscrew easily by hand. No more stuck filters!
What size socket to remove the drain plug ?
What size wrench for the plug?
Looks mad easy, I gotta do mine soon. You remember by chance where you got your mats? I need some and to ditch the standard carpet ones lol
Just to let you know isave a least 75.00 dollars by doing it. 💯😅🤗
Got here from “Fix it French”
Who knew I could learn so much in one day
