Montana. What a state. When you are from Europe this all apears to be so huge and wide open. We have the Alps here but the space around is pretty limited. Either in Germany or Austria. Relativaly smooth aproach for a mountain descent.
Big sky country, Montana is HUGE. It would take over 10 hours to drive across the state. In Europe that would be like diving from Frankfurt to San Marino. Visiting four countries in the process. Living in Kanas, it's a similar story for me. As you know I live near Joplin, Missouri in the Southeast corner of Kansas. It takes me over 12 hours to drive from there to Denver, and that's with highway speeds now set at 80mph for most of that drive.
I try to keep my camera level with the plane. I have a level on the screen that shows when the camera is level, but sometimes based on the weight and balance of the plane, the plane doesn't always stay level with the horizon. The other factor here is that, since I hold the camera by hand, it can sometimes be difficult to keep the phone completely level all the time because it's painful to hold the camera in that way for long periods haha. Sometimes that causes it to get off level slightly. The alternative is a mount with makes the entire footage look warped and ripply. Which, IMO, is far worse that being slightly off level from time to time.
Great fly! Have you ever visited Indian reservation, a land that is held by Native Americans including Navajo Nation that is administered by the United States Bureau of Indian Affairs?

Have I ever gone to them specifically to visit them? No. But I do drive through several of them every time I go to Tulsa.
