Great review James! Just saw this yesterday and wanted to know your opinion. One of the best of the year so far for me, as for someone who can't stand Sorkin's writing (or overwriting) I vastly prefer this to The Social Network, mainly because it's characterisation and humour is much more subtle and realistic. Wouldn't it be great if Glenn Howerton got an Oscar nom? Never going to happen but he deserves it! Keep up the good work, onwards and upwards!

I watched the always sunny podcast and they were really blowing Glenn up on his performance I think I'll definitely catch this one

Glenn Howerton was the original choice for Star Lord. He’s a great actor.

I'm excited to see Glenn's performance. I've been loving him on Its Always Sunny forever and I can't wait see him on the big screen.

I loved my Blackberry. It was a business man’s phone. The BB chat was most secure of all mobile phones at the time. Still have it as a momento.

Hey, James! Your experience in the actual theater was more bizarrely fascinating than any movie! Lol. I never had a blackberry but your review convinced me I'm more the demographic for this movie than "Air" despite its high profile cast. Thanks for the heads up!

You have to watch Matt's "Nirvana, The Band, The Show". It's the best tv comedy in years!

Totally unrelated to this movie, but have you checked out Silo with Rebecca Ferguson? First ep is pretty good!

So I loved the movie ,but that's may be because.i could relate to the nerdy geeky ness.and yes I've seen social network ,but never seemed to be all praises for it like blackberry.

I saw Air in the theater and I hated it. I streamed Blackberry from my living room and I loved it.

You have lots of issues at your theaters in NYC. Never had anything like that happen here in So Cal.

Comparing this to Air is a crime. Air sucked

I am definitely up for a trip back to the '90s. Good review, James.

If you enjoyed Matt Johnson I highly recommend nirvana the band the show. A hilarious comedy series that is a mix between scripted and improv. The actually film in public so real people end up involved it really blurs the lines.

Tetris on Apple TV+ was another movie that fills this niche

Why do they have to spell out stuff in such an obvious manner? That movie poster with the horns over one head and the idea light bulb just makes me think one dimensional characters, but everyone has a foil and if it's done well then okay...

Yeah this movie was extremely funny and entertaining but very one dimensional

Interesting review as always and enthusiastic. People have to remember that people sho use youtube vary in age from 5 to about 85. I never had one back then and youtube is the social media I use. I was ‘forced’into Facebook years ago but dropped it soon after. I googled it before i watched your review. Don’t know the director or actors. Michael Ironside is the ‘fuc**ng’ man though. Other than score by Trent Reznor and his music parter, The Social Network was THE most overrated movie of the past couple of decades. I probably stand alone in that
