Ryoji x FeMC is in my opinion the epitome of star-crossed lovers and canon IMO. These are due to these factors: 1) He doesn't have any complicated Lovers Flags... Just doing his Social Link will make him confess to her himself without her having to do anything special...With the other LIs there is either complicated Lovers Flags that are easy to miss like Akihiko or she has to confess and make a move herself like Shinjiro and Theodore... 2) Becoming Lovers with Ryoji can also happen on an Earlier Rank in his Social Link at Rank 8 compared to Akihiko at Rank 9 or Shinjiro which can only happen after his Social Link is already all done and finished in a Bonus Scene where the FeMC has to insist on it for it to happen... Or Theodore on his Last Date... 3) Ryoji also has not one but two Social Links with her with one of them being completely Automatic and the other being Semi-Automatic... In addition to his Special Bond with her due to being Inside of her for 10 Years... But not in the way he wanted to be later... SPOILERS also for more elaborations: 4) He already displays affection for the FeMC as Pharos during the automatic Death S-link with calling her his "dearest" and he actually cries at the end of the Death S-link in the female route which of course didn't exist for the male MC. 5) Their first meeting is interesting since he does mention a nostalgia feeling and this feeling didn't exist for the male MC only for the FeMC which in my opinion gives them a bond immediately! 6) Yukari will mention the RyojixFeMC bond in an in-game cutscene during the Kyoto trip "Wait are you two...". and the FeMC has an special option to answer Ryoji's question about the umbrella ("Wanna stand under it?"). When you talk to Ryoji in the main hall in Kyoto he will add to his normal "Kyoto is the place to go" a new additional sentence which doesn't exist for the MC: "With you it's far more enjoyable". 7) After Ryoji confesses his love in Rank 8 and you chose to take lovers route, there is a in-game scene in which he whispers into her ear that he wants to see her room and Fuuka notices that the FeMC is blushing after Ryoji left. On top of my head, this is the first time FemMC got flustered first! Usually it was the LIs! 8) After he tells his backstory and asks her to kill him in the meeting room (after his fight against Aigis on the bridge) she has got an option to answer him "I could never kill you/I don't know what to do") which also doesn't exist for the MC. If you have chosen to take the lovers route actually the dialog for the good and bad ending will change. 9) You will certainly have seen the good ending and Rank 10. After this when he says his Good-bye he will mention his "My dearest" line in an in-game scene if you took the lovers route. The last time when they interact is actually the Avatar fight when you have finished his s-link in which she says that she is going to attack him now and he answers with "Come to me". 10) What I think is outstanding is that Junpei (who will mention the closeness of RyojixFemc on Christmas if you have chosen lovers route for Ryoji), Aigis, Fuuka and Yukari acknowlegde this bond. Yukari even suspects that they are an item as well as Fuuka. Aigis in my opinon now actually has a reason to despise Ryoji. 11) Overall, I do think that Ryoji is serious about the FeMC especially if you pursue the s-link of course, even though he starts off as womanizer and "philanderer" XDDDD. When he starts to date FeMC he doesn't hit on other girls anymore, he ditched his fangirls in favor of going around town with the FEMC (who shows him around) and the last scene in the main story line in which he hits on other girls is the scene on the rooftop with Yukari and Mitsuru which is comic relief and he has just known the FEMC for a few days at this point. After this he begins to hit on the FEMC which stays like this. He doesn't date other girls when he starts to hang around with the FEMC at all and realizes that they do have a bond from the start. In a nutshell, I like RyojixFeMC since it connects the Death S-link and the Fortune S-link and Ryoji isn't as random as in the male route. :DDDDD
i am 100% cause like... wtf ken is in grade school and he’s 12..while femc is in high school 16 or 17 and to see them date is werid af idk wtf the atlus developers was thinking but it wasn’t a good idea i don’t even think anyone ever picked ken to date anyway unless they want to see how his romantic route is for curiosity i guess but persona games are made in japan and the legal age is 13 so i guess they think it was okay....but still why they will do that tf ken isn’t even a teen yet tho💀
It's was supposed to be one sided, but it seems the translation to English wasn't as it was supposed to be. Ken was supposed to adore you but you loved him in a different way, hence how his ending says "dear friend" and not "loved one" as it does for everyone else. They must've missed the memo in parts... They even changed the wording of the final rank scene in Western releases to prevent implication of sexual activity, as what is normally used for all the other characters is normally something akin to "time... Alone. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)". As I said, it wasn't supposed to be romantic but the translator teams seem to have just ran with romantic by accident or something. Maybe nobody told them he was a kid and they assumed he was 16.
I hate how no one ever mentions how Akihiko mentions pancakes. He hardly ever mentions protein in the main game, being a protein junkie in spin-offs only. But when you think "persona" and "protein" you think "Akihiko", and when you think "persona" and "pancakes" you think "Akechi" (Akechi also only said "pancakes" once in the base game, with hating himself for that in Royal)
If you maxed shinjiro's social link before his supposed death, he's only in a coma because the watch that you returned to him blocked the bullet P.S if you want shinjiro in a coma, go to officer kurosawa and he gives you the watch
Atlus really makes it hard for Ken to not be hated, I hope the Ken route is a mistake that never ever happens again. But considering how p5 has a tsundere 10 year old ish looking kid who is sort of hinted to have feelings for joker as his velvet room assistant I am still scared this might return
