Maybe those characters will always be staples, but depending on assists and potential niche fills and gimmicks we will still see them -in- the teams and that's what matters. Look at Tatsunical taking Nappa to grand finals and winning, despite him being largely considered the worst character if not Majin Buu.

Mikaelis I think it's good to round out a team with at least one good assist. Vegeta, Goku (Black or Nilla), Tien, Android 21, Yamcha - even friggin Nappa lol, just something to actually have to deal with in neutral. There's a reason you don't see Adult Gohan + Teen Gohan + Krillin too much.
...but yeah, literally nerf Vegeta's assist to the ground and we Gucci.

But i'm getting sick that every team is like ??/??/vegeta. He's just so unbelievable good, ffs he even catches vanishes like it's nothing. All i'm saying is that this vegeta dick sucking gets on my nerves after the 20th fight in a row against vegeta players
your problem is with the game developers then, if other assists werent so useless or vegeta's assist wasn't so good then you would see variety, plus it's vegeta....you know people love vegeta

Naburi it can happen one time I did a level 3 super with vegeta on both goku black and goku at the same time and ended the game right there because both health were below half and I had sparkling on it was LEGENDARY
(The term for that in fighting games is a “Happy Birthday”) One time I actually had a player call me a hacker because I hit their hit assist that was low on health and killed him and then proceeded to kill his other character

More damage. Can air dash twice. Safer frames. That's why he could juggle his opponent so much by cancelling into ki blasts. That, in combination with sparking blast. It was clearly game over for his opponent, his power level was too high.
I expected there to be more to it. Hadn't seen that Frieza combo against Black ever untill now so figured it probably had to do something with it's Golden state but i didn't know what. Thanks for clearing that up for me. And yes, absolutely agree; his power level was way too high.

Just played him last night and almost took a game off him. He hit me with that body switch and I was so hurt and couldnt finish the round. When you get hit by that it doesnt even want to make you play the rest of the round lol
