I ran from a police Tahoe in a 2008 Saturn Aura XE. It has modified shift points so gets up to speed pretty quick 0-60 in about 5.4 seconds. It all depends on car specs and what the police are driving. Just remember, you can't outrun a radio.
In all chases, you have a small 2-3 minute window to escape, until air support and backup is called and they set up a perimeter around your location. Get out of range and out of sight before that, you're golden.

bruce wayne and the dude driving spun out the ia, should have gotten another professional driver such as the cop, had them practice the course a bunch (since the cop probably did this track millions of times while teaching how to drive) and then have them go at it
They did if you don't remember he said the Ferrari had over a 1/4 mile lead after 1 lap around the course. They didn't bother showing or going any further. Realistically if the driver of the Ferrari is in any way talented then on the streets with traffic and many more places to hide or sneak off the cops have there hands full unless they get the chopper and other units involved fast.
Wittle Fuzzies - Touche my friend touche. But on the slim chance you can get to a underground parking garage or something similar then hop out and take a stroll to a safe distance from the car but close enough you can still see it to keep an eye on whether or not they find it. I'm not going to admit whether or not I have done this or whether or not I got away with it.
Correction: a police car. Many cars can outrun police cars due to them being super heavy and not having a ton of power. However, if you're not smart, the police force will be on you. Can't beat the radio.
lol you don't need to re color your car all you need to do is make sure they don't get the plates whether on the patrol's car camera or by eyesight but these days some police depts have license plate scanner where if they're close they'll automatically pick it up. So in that case your best chance depends on how it all started.
There's hypercars like the Koenigsegg or a Bugatti that I seen in police chases that were so fast thery were even out running the helicopters. Remember in the video the police guy in the helicopter said "we can't catch him, we can't fly fast enough to keep up with him" and eventually he was out of sight
Yeas because if he can’t catch him maybe another cop car will or maybe putting spike strips in a highway not the best for civilian safety and yes also because by the time he’s calling in for back up on the same freeway he’s probably already exited and looking to lay low 🤷🏽♂️

Take the shit out of your ears. The V8 Dodge is rated at 370 hp. With W-rated tires, they are electronically limited to 152 mph. The V8 Dodge is now the only high-performance police vehicle on the market. The agencies and municipalities using the Dodge (over 30 over the lower 48 states use the Charger Pursuit as a primary enforcement vehicle) are entirely satisfied with its performance.
Running away from the police is incredibly easy to be honest. Most say you can't outrun the Radio however that is false as you still have a delay from Radio to Response and even once they respond if you lost the first cop they have to find you again which by then you will be long gone if you know what your doing.
StarGaming Yep exactly. Say your going 120mph down a freeway and you pass a cop, by the time he even pulls out your 100s of feet more away, and if theres a exit within the next 2 miles or so you can be off and gone before other cars can get to the area.

Never been in an accident and under most circumstances, I driver the speed limit of no more than 5 miles over which won't get s glance from law enforcement here in NC. One day approx 3 three weeks ago on a clear Tuesday morning while everyone else was working from home, I decided to go to a beauty supply store to get some items for my girls heads. On the way there, I waited for a light on a clear street and soon after it turn green, I floored the accelerator just to hear the sound of that R/T hemi exhaust getting up to 67 mph in a 35. Just as I took my foot of the peddle to come back down and cruise again, a state trooper came around the curve coming in the opposite direction and I saw him immediately slow down and make a big u turn. I can't saw the thought of running did not cross my mind knowing I'd likely get a ticket that could result in a 30 day suspension, and points. But I knew my R/T Durango albeit it quick, was no match for a state troopers charger. Had I been in a 911 Turbo, I likely would have So now I sit here out of 600 dollars for my lawyer and that's before I even pay the find/ driver defense course/ community service. I hope he can avoid the points and suspension like he claims.

He said upgraded cooling not coolant. His accent just made it sound like coolant.
I mean... If you're gonna be running high rpm's non stop in a pursuit you would need aftermarket cooling. Run most stock cars at high rpm's for a while and they'll overheat.
The guy in Houston had a hellcat, but he ran out of gas
He made the mistake of taking the highway the entire time while getting tailed by a chopper.
Swoog3G He did escape the chopper though lol, which is crazy. But eventually he stopped so they caught up.
Part of being a good driver is knowing your vehicle. 3rd world brains cannot grasp that. He ran out of future like the cesspool he came from
The Taurus police interceptor ecoboost is faster than charger pursuit by 3 seconds
It's not the cop's fault, he's actually answering the reporter's questions honestly! The fault lies with the mayor and the city council.
Wait they didn't race the Ferrari against the charger what the fuck happened
bruce wayne and the dude driving spun out the ia, should have gotten another professional driver such as the cop, had them practice the course a bunch (since the cop probably did this track millions of times while teaching how to drive) and then have them go at it
They did if you don't remember he said the Ferrari had over a 1/4 mile lead after 1 lap around the course. They didn't bother showing or going any further. Realistically if the driver of the Ferrari is in any way talented then on the streets with traffic and many more places to hide or sneak off the cops have there hands full unless they get the chopper and other units involved fast.
Thomas Hodis i agree fully, but then again, it's hard to hide a Ferrari, unless your in LA or the middle east lol
Thomas Hodis 😁👌👍
Tbh I outran an Oklahoma highway patrol charger in my 3.6l Passat.
You in jail yet?
I'm pretty sure the best car to outrun the cops is a orange 1969 Dodge Charger.
"Just a good 'ole boy
never meanin' no harm"
I had a 3.6 vr6 Passat .. it was a slow car.. only did 15secs in the 1/4 mile. No way you outran him... car is too slow
Quin Koele tbh i think your lying out your fuckin teeth
Thanks this video really helped me rob that bank
Thanks for the useful info. I will definitely be using this info
You dont need a fast car to get away from the police
Kosi Sanchez you can still get pulled over.
Correction: a police car. Many cars can outrun police cars due to them being super heavy and not having a ton of power. However, if you're not smart, the police force will be on you. Can't beat the radio.
JJ J beat the helicopter and recoler your car and make sure your windows are tinted and you have no plates
lol you don't need to re color your car all you need to do is make sure they don't get the plates whether on the patrol's car camera or by eyesight but these days some police depts have license plate scanner where if they're close they'll automatically pick it up. So in that case your best chance depends on how it all started.
Kosi Sanchez Just drive smarter than cops. The faster you drive the higher chance you have of being on the 6 o clock news.
There's hypercars like the Koenigsegg or a Bugatti that I seen in police chases that were so fast thery were even out running the helicopters. Remember in the video the police guy in the helicopter said "we can't catch him, we can't fly fast enough to keep up with him" and eventually he was out of sight

@@oscar2500 I'll see if I can find it again for you. I remember it was not a easy video to find

Okay hearing fugue state by Nero in this was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for the throwback
Yes because when I outrun the cops its on an isolated road where the cop isn't able to call for backup, a spike strip, or a chopper.
Yeas because if he can’t catch him maybe another cop car will or maybe putting spike strips in a highway not the best for civilian safety and yes also because by the time he’s calling in for back up on the same freeway he’s probably already exited and looking to lay low 🤷🏽♂️
@@crisrambo128 Good luck trying to stay low in a unique looking car. It'll be on piggies watch list for a long time before you're able to drive it again.
demilishing Just get a wrap and without evidence there’s so many red mustangs out there they won’t know that’s it’s you but maybe you get pulled over but without proof that it was you anyone is inthe clear
@@crisrambo128 I'm the only one in my city with my car, even if I wrap it it's still the only one xD Would work if I had a mustang but then it wouldn't turn heads like my baby does now.
Need to use the pursuit breaker
Need to use the new Teslas the LAPD just got
As an owner of a Yaris IA I knew it wouldn't take long at all for that cop to catch up 😂 106 horsepower for the win!
The only thing that yaris can win against a cop is upgrade those wheels and maybe downhill corner race
In case anyone is wondering, the song in the background is Fugue State by Nero.
Thank you for this helpful information
Best way to deal with a cop. Do the speed limit. Smile. And Wave. Win/Win.
suck his disk? if you want to swear on the internet at least do it properly hahah
focus2003 a$$ i cant get in trouble if i use the $ sign . Get it . I can get in blocked otherwise moron
you dont get blocked for swearing on youtube unless the channel blocks you which is their own decision
Crooked Dreams yeah we're the morons yet you think you're going to get in trouble for swearing on RUclips.
Baaaaaahh...🐑
I outran a cop on a 50cc dirtbike when i was a 5 year old.
How fast does your car have to be? Faster than the police radio. Remember that one officer has friends that will be looking for you.
Where was this shot at? Looks awesome.
There is an old saying . You may beat my Chevrolet ,but you will never beat my two way .
beat the radio every time. it's not hard.
My grand pa was a cop and he said that to me alot when id get speeding tickets
1:50 I wouldn’t trust that guy in the Ferrari
It’s not about the power sometimes, night or day time? Heavy or mild traffic?
Good handling in a Porsche 911 or Lowkey in a Toyota Prius with silver color?
Too many factors come to play and sometimes it’s your luck ☘️
I love the Ressler's reference from Blacklist
350hp?
That's cute
Take the shit out of your ears. The V8 Dodge is rated at 370 hp. With W-rated tires, they are electronically limited to 152 mph.
The V8 Dodge is now the only high-performance police vehicle on the market. The agencies and municipalities using the Dodge (over 30 over the lower 48 states use the Charger Pursuit as a primary enforcement vehicle) are entirely satisfied with its performance.
What if you have stickers that add an extra 20 horsepower or so for each one?
That explains nascar
You may be able to outrun cops but you will never outrun the radio
The laughs at the beggining is so hilarious
It ain’t the cop car you got to out run it’s the radio you got to be faster then
its pretty hard to outrun something going 186,000 miles per second.........................
@@rearspeaker6364 exept if you have a radio jammer inside of your car that jam cop radio in 5 mile radius

He did.
I'm a 40 year old uber and lyft driver with over 5000 rides under my belt.
So what your telling me is I can’t outrun a cop in my 2003 for focus se 😭
Then you go to Dubai where their police have Bugatti’s as their police vehicles
It cracks me up that dodge STILL refers to the Hemi in its new cars as Hemi's...they're NOT!
The thing about super cars is, all you have to do is put an alert out for a red Ferrari, and unless you're in Dubai, it shouldn't be to hard to spot later on in most cities lol
What if it's cop car vs Kawisaki H2 :)

the Kawasaki would crash because the rider ain't shit.
There's no point you fucking idiot

I out ran the cops 3 times on a highway/backroad in a heavy ass tundra and titan, sooo yeah someone needs some upgrades
Over here in a Nissan Xterra 🤣
Chevy prism with the help of traffic of course.
Thanks for telling me.
Respect the 4 bangers
Outrun a cop = cop waiting at home lol
They read ur plates
It needs to be fast enough to outrun a Motorola radio...
just buy a bicycle from Salvation Army.
Not accurate, you need to accommodate for traffic, street turns, speed bumps, traffic lights etc as well as road knowledge of the surrounding area
That's why they put that disclaimer at the end my man. This video is accounting for just pure power of different vehicles, along with the weight and handling to answer the question about which cars are quicker than the charger.
So with my modded stage 2 GTI I should be good, nice to know just in case
Thanks, I know what car I need to buy now.

Up until a few years ago all we had to do was hit 140 but here in FL the state troopers and sheriff's got cts and scats
Richland county sheriffs office has a RT challenger I believe
Cool video, don’t try at home lol
I can outrun a cop in my 09 Impala SS!
Been in the car and got away from a 2014 Police Tahoe in a 2015 Dodge Durango R/T. You can do it, you just have to beat the radio and have a car with more power then what they’ve got. Did it in an SUV. Wasn’t a charger chasing but hey if you got a 5.0 Mustang you got some good odds.
LMFAO that hellcat was out running the heli, also a while back a audi S6 out ran a chopper also.
GTI for the win!
Now do this on the main roads & highway with traffic
They said you own't get away if its in actual road at the end.
Just need that eurobeat.
will nothing be said about the charger driver's 180 reverse to forward at 2:07?
