    Yall missed visiting IRTRA THEMATIC AND WATER PARKS. Those parks were awarded the best in the world in 2009, over Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in Kobe Japan.

      Oh no! We didn't know about those, wow! We love a good theme park. Thanks for letting us know and we'll have to try them out next time!

    Thanks for sharing. Is so beautiful and rich the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources. I have been in Guatebella a couple of times. God bless

      Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching! We visited Brazil for our honeymoon a while back, albeit briefly. We got to visit both Iguaçu waterfall and São Paulo, however only scratched the surface of the country. We would love to visit once again!

    Nice vid guys, job well done! Cool blend of videos and pictures. Antigua is a wonderful and completely safe place to visit. Such rich atmosphere and history. Glad you also found the Acatenango hike so tough and demanding! ;) (But totally worth it in the end...)

      Thanks for watching Chris and Ken! Antigua is awesome and one of our favorite places to visit in Central America. So you have survived Acatenango as well👏👏 , how awesome was it!? If you liked Antigua and haven't been to Nicaragua yet then you will also love Granada. It has a similar vibe, good restaurant scene and is really pretty.

      @@BucketListTravellers Haha, yeah, we survived the Acatenango hike. Tough as hell, but in the end, a completely epic and unique experience. Reaching the summit just before sunrise, I felt like I was on a different planet :) We are definately coming back to visit Nicaragua at some point!

    Good job! Guatemala is so beautiful and rich. The Land of Jacobo Arbenz, Miguel Angel Asturias (Noble Literature Prize) and Kjell Eugenio Laugerud. The Malvinas belong to Argentina and Belice belongs to Guatemala. God bless you all!

    I was trapped in Antigua for 5 months during covid. But if you have to be trapped in a place there's certainly worse places than Antigua. I really liked that town and the people.

      Hi Brandon, sounds like you had a very similar experience to us! We were in Granada Nicaragua and it had a similar feel to Antigua. Yes, there would have been much worse places to be stuck than in Antigua!

    Did you have any issues flying the drone in Antigua?

      Hi Matt, we actually used creative commons footage for the drone shots so can't help you unfortunately. Thanks for watching.

    For the video description, could you add info for the language school if you still have it and why you recommend it?

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  3 года назад

      Thanks for the feedback Scott. We didn't actually do a class because we didn't allocate enough time, however a number of people that we spoke to did spanish school classes that came bundled with homestays with locals. A great idea!

    Your lighting during the intro and other clips from the close up of you two is very good. On some of the newer videos you look a little over exposed. The zoom animations on still photos keeps the sense of motion. Well done. I also like that you put in what the area is known for such as the chocolate. It helps people like me who know nothing about the area get a little research done in advance. What is that sandwich at 5:09? It looks amazing!

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  3 года назад

      Great feedback, thanks Scott. We need to be more aware of exposure when we are out on the road. Yeah, we like the zoom for the same reasons, it is more dynamic. We LOVE chocolate so couldn't help but mention it! Guatemala is known as the birthplace of chocolate! The sandwich was a vege burger and it was awesome! We were pleasantly surprised at how many vege options there were in Antigua.

    Hi, what date was when u were in Antigua? Month and year? Is all year this sunny? I want to go in 2021

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  3 года назад +2

      Hi Davico, We were in Antigua in the first week of February 2020. January to March is generally the peak season for tourism as it is the dry season and a really nice and sunny time of year. The wet season starts in May and runs through to November. I'm not sure though whether borders are currently open though. Guatemala is a great country to visit, you will have lots of fun.
