- Predecessor is the spiritual successor to Epic Game's 3rd Person MOBA Paragon that got shut down in order to put all resources towards Fortnite at the time. Now entering Early Access - Predecessor feels like Paragon and then some.

Paragone is already a throwback, but hearing Fruit talk about Scorch from Titanfall 2 really activated the nostalgia centres of my noggin. Great videos, great game 😊

I'm so hyped to grind the shit out of this game. I remember playing Paragon when it was in beta before it was axed, and it looks like this keeps the feel perfectly. Also can't wait for more Dream Team content on this
I dont really understand MOBAs or like playing them myself. But the paragon videos, the league video the other day and this one are some of my favorite from Mr. Fruit. I'll watch you play anything man!

Paragon was a HUGE part of the beginning of my fiancé and I’s relationship (along w Mr. Fruit). I’m getting him a PC for Christmas and can’t wait to watch him play predecessor. Keep the vids coming!
my fiance also loves to watch me play the game because she watched me play paragon shortly after we met and we had a great time. she always watched the minimap for me and told me to use my wards lol

Loved to watch the old Paragon series. Guess it’s free reign to use the assets and designs from the game but put it in new light which sounds good. I have a PC now so I might try it out sometime

As strange as it may sound Paragon is how I found Mr. Fruit. I just wanted to watch someone do some gameplay of Paragon, watched one of Mr. Fruits videos on one of the characters, then I watched the rest of his character videos, then I stated watching the rest of his videos, and now I watch everything he does.
I paid for the Paragon Founders edition and then it got shut down I couldn't even get a refund on it. The game singlehandedly led me to saving every single receipt for a game I buy
I am so stoked this is back! Your original videos of the characters got me started and I was devastated when they shut the game down. Now I go for my daily Mr. Fruit video and find that it’s back!! So pumped!
One of my favorite games is back and I get to play it with my favorite content creators all these years later. Younger me never would have guessed.
Love all your old Paragon videos. Still go back and watch them every once in awhile. Keep the Predecessor vids coming!

I remember watching your paragon videos from way back then. I always enjoyed the game and was really disappointed when I heard it was going down.
The way Epic believed more in Paragon then Fortnite remind me of how Disney believed more in Pocahantas then Lion King. They were making the 2 movies at the same time and even called Pocahantas "A" and Lion King "B". The ones who were working on Pocahantas and doing a "bad" job were send to work on the Lion King as a punition.
Fruit put Deja Vu in the video and I got to that section as Deja Vu was playing at my shop 🤣

I am so happy to see Paragon back again. I remember playing with my buddy for HOURS and now we get to do it all again. So HYPED
Been playing both. But I probably like Overprime more at the moment, but at least Predecessor looks like it will get better.
i don't like Overprime because the power creep is real , there are some broken heroes that will win the match for the team and there is little chance for comeback . Also the minions are there for nothing since most of the time you will be fighting players , being hard to farm . It felt more like an hero shooter to me less like a moba.
Predecessor feels exactly like a moba and is the most similar to OG Paragon . There is chance for comeback , you can farm , you can fight other players , there is more strategy and thinking.
So Overprime have more features but worst gameplay while Predecessor lacks almost all features but have better gameplay. Once it leaves Early Acess it will have those features tho . Just hope it won't be too late for them because of Overprime being free , while Predecessor only becomes free after Early Acess.
But this is my personal opinion after playing both , and if you enjoy Overprime more hope you have fun with it.
@@symphonixblades at the moment SEA server is all I have for Australia and I’m still getting like 200 ping, so that is a main issue. But as I said, looks like Predecessor will get better (for me) as they released an update for Asian server within the first day (hoping for closer OCE one tho). Doesn’t mean I can’t play, just that sometimes ranged characters will suck coz of the high ping.-
I would have been like blue staying up until midnight, then I realized that i had to pay for early access so I am content until full release
Mr. FRUITTT I’m so happy to see the paragon content once again. This game is pure nostalgia and seems to be the best remake to Paragon so far imo. Keep up the great contentttt :).

I found the mr.fruit Channel searching for Paragon guides back in the day. It makes me really happy to see It come back.
The way I found you, Mr. Fruit, was a Gideon video. Ended back in the closed beta days of Paragon. Grinded the hell out of the game that never really came to be. But hey, I ended up with a guy with the best youtube catalogue out there. Watching every video since and the backlog.
So happy to see this game back, and happy to see you being able to enjoy it with friends :)

So I just played my first two games of Predecessor after watching this, one on jg and the other on support and I have to say that the Paragon vibes are back, but my skill hasn't returned. It's a good enough game that I can actually see myself playing it again regularly.

I watched all the old Paragon vids. I was so hyped for the game and I was so sad that it was only PS4 and PC because I was an xbox gamer back then.

Ngl my main reason to hate Fortnite is bcs Paragon was dropped sadly, although I'm happy Revenant went on as the Raven skin in Fortnite. (Sad Shinbi is not on that build)
