@@TheDailyDrivendoes this setup take alway all that raspy sound? A Loud but deep tone would be dope. I like the sound the F90 M5 and even the M340i makes with cat less down pipes and a full exhaust. They sound like a mini diesel truck idling specially when you can hear the whistle through the exhaust from the turbos.

This is the setup I was heading towards. But do you actually need the rear section? I have a valve controller and thought if you had it open it was all the same. Is it worth getting the rear section?

G80 already has equal length form factory. That is why the pipes are routed on both sides on the gearbox, to compensate one turbo being further away than the other. This makes it un-equal length again.
Actually BMW tried to make it equal length but they did not which is why you still have some distortion/ rasp.
The team at Active actually measured the difference between and its still off by some degrees.

@Mikael Bertlin No worries. We all thought BMW fixed it when this platform came out but they only compensated. I've actually tested out two versions of Active's equal length and one was off by 5 inches. That one was still a big difference than having it to be truly equal length in sound.

Currently no plans for me to tune mine. Tbh the g80 is plenty fast for me. I definitely have some more cosmetic mods coming. Just need them to actually get shipped lol
G82 is just a better looking car than G80- IMHO
Those definition lines on the car say different lol 😂but its all your opinion. Honestly it reminds me of the Mustang too much from the side I just love the G82’s tail lights which are beautiful.
