Try not to up-shift mid corner at Luffield (i think thats the name of the corner before copse). You can have a better controlled and gradual exit. Also treat it like a double apex rather than 1 late apex so you have a more v-shaped racing line through the corner.
You keep shifting down to 2nd gear at Luffield when it isnt needed, which means ur maxing out revs and having to upshift back to 3rd gear again which limits your momentum and speed coming out of the corner heading towards copse. Use the low revs in gear 3 to your advantage in Luffield to have a controlled output of power.
Top tips thank you buddy - I have always struggled with that corner. One to keep working at!

congratulation! what a great race! i was so tense during the race and waited to comment so i wouldn't get spoiled with the result! so i got back onto iracing and had a few practice sessions. but I am very hesitant to race. for example for next week at misano it even says 65% chance of rain and i have no idea how to deal with that. i i think i'll bite the bullet. this race got me hooked :)

Fantastic performance! That one certainly didn’t come easy. Sensational battle with Shirakov, when you were around the outside at the end of the Hangar Straight, I felt confident you’d get the pass done by maintaining the line and having the inside for the next chicane. But that was some tussle to end up going through there two wide. Also, how brutal are those slowdown penalties! Reckon that White fella lost the best part of 3secs there!
@@chrisrogerssimracing ha thanks fella! The track limits are really stringent on a bunch of the high speed sections of the track, and it leaves you having to spend slow downs on straightaways and losing so much time getting back up to speed! Thankfully I managed to avoid them where others didn’t 😅😅
Anton Shirokov is known to be a Ferrari karting team strategy engineer tho :) Quite a responsible job btw

I do not own the Formula light car, but how is the wet racing in this car/series ? Id like to move on from the DOF F3 series.
Hi buddy - so I haven't raced it in the wet loads, but it's great fun. Very tricky as you'd expect but actually the racing I've experienced has been pretty good
