Intentionally avoided clicking this vid since it popped into my feed because I knew what this was.. for whatever reason I clicked it today and 30 seconds in confirmed what I already knew. For those of us who live up here in the Yellowstone area know that Montana also does this with Bison. Rancher opens the gate and tells you which one to kill depending upon how much money you put down. No hate here. If that's your thing knock yourself out. There is, however, some disappointment just because the casual viewer clicking this is going to think this is elk hunting. This is elk harvesting. There's a huge difference. If you're after elk hunting vids go over and watch Jason Phelps in the Oregon mountains or Randy Newberg in the Idaho backcountry. Go watch those men and women with 7 to 14 day packs on purifying water in the creek just hoping to run into a herd. They will be "hunting."
Ik wym man, the area he’s hunting is PACKED with bulls like that, buddy of mine was lucky enough to kill one before they made that private land you have to buy a tag for… so urban due to the fact that where he’s hunting is literally surrounded by 2 huge coal mines/towns… locals see this bull all the time, we just left him because he’s always by the coal mine😂😂 kinda like a work decoration. I know the owner of the neighboring ranch that Lee has leased out and they shared with me some interesting information some of you might want to know. Last year when Lee and Tiffany were hunting on this ranch they wounded 2 bulls prior to the ones that they have on there RUclips video. I know this because they contacted the rancher I am friends with to see if they could track these wounded bulls on his property, they were given permission to do so but they never did find either of them. They don’t show that on RUclips and they continue to keep hunting and taking unethical shots hoping the broadhead will do the work instead of the shot placement doing the work. He’s just like Jim Shockey, once loved the hunt and was a true sportsman, now he has his fingers in everything and it’s a money game now. And he is also able to get his special draw permit by pulling some greasy tricks too.
Cool story dude…. 🥴🤪 But if you just did a little tiny bit of research you’d see Tiffany didn’t even hunt this ranch last year as she had a different permit.
What an awesome video, from the family and friends to the ups and downs of hunting a once in a lifetime bull you captured it perfectly! Thanks for sharing!
What was cool is the you were able to see the bull several times before a shot presented itself, that makes it very exciting. Homeschooling is the only way, it's awesome!
Beautiful bull...but how did he die with an arrow through his hind quarter? Elk will live for years with that arrow in them like that. Did you end up rifling him or sticking him again?
