    The game have very solid base. All they have to do is focus more on pve, and separate pvp and pve better not to trigger people that dont want to pvp.

    This is a new game.
    It doesn't even have a global launch yet.
    A large part of the map is not yet available, so the content is still ahead of us.
    March 7th is the dev stream and they tell us what the future of the game is and they listen to the community.
    This game has a lot of potential

      Totally agree with u, no sence for me that people are crying already....Lost Ark and other games were trash at the start....Game is really good, game just need few changes and more content which will come for sure....Lost Ark u cant even call real mmorpg, thats why throne made me quit lost ark after two years, when i started feel mmo vibes again and met so many amazing people in two months of playing...in lost ark i met just two friends in two years, people dont care about others they just want their raids be done...

      @@davidbrincko2344 you cant compare TL release to Lost Ark, Lost Ark already had a lot of content. Also they already announced the global launch that is up on steam and the games website is up, just no more info. The ingame progression systems look a lot like Lost Ark in a lot of ways... If someone quit Lost Ark because of honing then TL doesn't look much different.

      it has potential for sure, but also has issues that won't sit well with majority of players. we can't just ignore issues and hope everything will be fine.

      @@secretzpt176 i wasnt talking about Lost Ark global release, but about Lost Ark release in Korea....Lost Ark wasnt even close in quality to Throne, basicly trash and look at now....Thats why i dont understand this QQ....TL is new game and still really good, with more content and some changes in pvp will TL kick most of the games...and totally dont understand what progression in lost ark is simillar to throne xD How u can compare honing in LA with leveling gear in TL?

    • @secretzpt176
      @secretzpt176 11 месяцев назад

      @@davidbrincko2344 They have said that they are keeping KR and the western version pretty much the same and there will be a release soon (unless they delay). What I'm comparing is: If TL got a western release as it is right now, why should I play it?
      From how I see it, as soon as you start listing your favourite things about MMORPGs you are going to see that there are MMORPGs that you can play today that probably have that implemented better. When western players started playing Lost Ark they expected great Legion raids, what are western players expecting out of TL?
      The progression comparison might not be 1:1, but generally speaking both are RNG based systems that can be sped up with real money purchases. What I meant with this is that TL's progression system isn't a defining revolutionary feature, in essence it's very similar to the typical KR MMORPG monetisation.

    The only major problem I can see right now is not have mega servers, been limited to a serve that could die just by an streamers start to play on this server or not been allowed to play with a friend just because the server is full is a pain in the ass

    • @FRESHY_GG
      @FRESHY_GG  9 месяцев назад +1

      NCSoft has ability to merge servers and they have already done 2 merges and offer server transfers for cheap price if people want to move to more populated servers.

    • @sirmonkeydluffy
      @sirmonkeydluffy 9 месяцев назад

      To be honest I don't think it's resolve the main problem, with dedicated servers we will have servers been completely ruined by streamers bring all theirs audience, and beyond all economic problem we have others problems like don't been able to play with friends because full servers and etc. All big MMOs resolved this with mega servers (wow, FFXIV, guild wars 2, eso and etc)
      For me, this is a must have upgrade they have to do to not fail

  • @mgvikings1484

    My opniion is, they have no direction yet ready to deploy, so they simply implement no-loot-policy, to avoid people from progress once they reach purple gear and skill levels. Unless you spend a lot of real money you simply cannot upgrade purple gear, because there is no realistic way to get decent enchant stones. And this "concept" plays across most of the content. They simply have not yet enough content ready for players, so they need to slow them down. This feels as people might decide to quit, rather than wait. I really enjoy the game, but there is something missing after reaching a certain point in progress....

    Its always funny how pvp people defend pvp in mmos, but there is not a single mass market pvp mmo that survived just on pvp. Problem is pvp in mmos req. you to play 2 jobs worth of time daily to even matter. and PvP population is at best 5%. 95% players are pve or casuals. If mmo wants to survive esp in the west it needs to better to both and needs to balance things right not to piss pve crowd as they are majority of their customers. Problem is PvP crowd just want easy kills by forcing casuals or pve players in to pvp situations where they dont fight.

    A lot of skills are clones as well, a lot of skills could easily be combined in 1 single skill and then players could have 1 less button to click, 8 buttons is kinda the limit and lost ark really did a good job and this, they have 8 buttons easy to click and every skill is important and different from one another

    the pvp as in Lineage 2 is the main selling point, if we get a system that "evens" things out I see no reason to play this game

  • @dracul1838

    well if NC Soft change this game so much more to pve(like amazon with NW) say´s to me that there are not so many pvp players to begin with.
    And second, pvp in a mmorpg cost time& resources, you need to lvl up,pick the right/best class,learn the rota/your skills,enchand your gear (in some game skills to)farm mats for consumables,oh and dont forget you should know how the other classes/skills are, that you can counter them.
    Meanwhile in BR or Dota games you are in and out for a match in 10-20min and the "farming" while the match is nothing compare to a mmorpg.
    And the people who where grow up with most of their time with mmorpgs are now in their 30-40s they have now their own family and lesser time,even if the children are grown now,if they play mmorpgs i doubt that they have the time and will to do this for pvp in a mmorpg now.

    • @davidbrincko2344

      Thats why people play mmorpg, because they want spend time there...who the hell want pvp in mmorpg like in DOTA games? Even in DOTA games u have to know about your enemy skills and items which they use in the fight to beat them out....match can be 20 min long but simply u lost because u dont spend more time in the game to be better....both are time consuming types of the games...

    EU/NA was always more of a PVE group enjoyers rather than PVP. So unless the PVE will be good enough to keep the masses playing, the game will turn into a Lineage2 story.

      That is one persons opinion. I don’t like the idea of shifting away from pvp in favor for pve as games that are pve focused exist and built around it ie ffxiv blue protocol. I think this is a early shift to an early grave for the game

      Never understood people willing to fight against an AI. Thou PVE as in Lineage 2 was the best combination where PVP is the core! Game should punish and you as a gamer should evolve even if you become a victim of a grief.
