Spend a week in Britain during really brisk weather. Drink real British tea made the old fashioned way, in a pot with water that's boiling pouring over loose tea in a strainer. You'll understand.

Bit of a generalization. I've been to Scotland and honestly, I'd be happy if people thought you weren't part of Britain. Scotland is amazingly beautiful and so much friendlier. The food however, a bit bland, thank goodness for scotch.

I’m just a British lad watching two British actors talk about British things... and I love it.
I've only ever seen James McAvoy play American characters, not sure if he used his Scottish accent in a movie before but its a shame he doesn't use it more often in movies

I completely agree. I think the reason he doesn’t get much recognition at the oscars etc. Is because most major awards shows tend to ignore Horror films. Over the past few years, Toni Colette in Hereditary and his performance in split got no recognition at all, and they were the best performance I’ve seen in each of their respective years. Like this year, I’d be very surprised if Lupita Nyong’o gets any recognition at all, and that’s the best performance I’ve seen so far this year!

I can honestly say I never heard James McAvoy's true accent until this very day and I never ever would have expected such a strong Scottish accent. He is freakin amazing with accents.

What is a dark crystal?
People sometimes laugh at their accent. But me on the other hand I find it so beautiful to hear, Elegant and it's sound so royalty. I love British accent and wish to learn it.

Allotment garden are very common in the Netherlands too, i had several and James is right, it is an awesome sollution for the ones without garden to grow veggies and share them with other gardeners or friends and familie.
The most greens produce more than you could eat yourself , so the sharing too makes food less expensive and it is just fun.

Watching an episode of The Graham Norton Show, James McAvoy was speaking in a regular/generic british accent, then he pointed to the audience and start talking with his Granfather which was there in a tottally "strange language" which I take a few seconds to recognize as Scottish!
Such a talent turn his speaking manners so quickly anda great respect to talk that way with his Grandad!!!
McAvoy should try standup comedy for shits and giggles. Even if he bombs on stage, it'll be a magnificent failure in the most British way possible.

so I guess in the UK The Sun is published everywhere, but over here in Canada we have localized Suns (Toronto Sun, Calgary Sun, etc.), they have an entire network and yes, every single one is tabloid trash. They also had a tv channel but no one watched it so it died after just a couple years of existence, despite much whining to the government to get handouts to stay on the air.
