i got one too. couldn't justify spending 5k+ on a new grom. it's worth it completely. just do the reliability mods. it does everything the grom can do and nothing it can't.
@@NO-kc4xb it depends, there's plenty of tutorials on youtube for doing these mods. if you have basic hand tools and can follow instructions you'd be ok. if for whatever reason you absolutely cannot do any of the mods to this bike then i would save up and buy a used grom if the mini motos are what interest you. i will say out of all of the mods i've done to mine, the most in depth was having to do the motor mounts. even then it's not that difficult. however i did pull the engine after welding in the 3rd mount plate to weld the other side under the motor which no one else has done that i've seen. i just wanted the extra strength.

For some reason mine arrived put together except for the handle bars and battery
