An option to make the fight with the geckos easier (presuming you have bee boxes) is to pick the honey and then have the swarm of bees follow you through the pile of sleeping geckos. They'll be determined to eliminate a few of them for you. Of course this only can be done during the Winter and the Spring season because they are killer bees. During the Summer and Autumn seasons, I've noticed they are not aggressive towards the geckos.
I really hope they make it so that Wurt can eat leafy meat. This farm would be good for her, and it makes sense, I mean what type of vegetarian can't eat a veggie burger.
@@dragonslayer3552 WX says it is just a plant that is high in protein, like a mushroom. Though Mushrooms are closer to animals than plants so this would make even more sense than her eating mushrooms.
If one will farm gekkos that spawn from grass for leafy meat, and grass tufts aren't renewable, then one might run low on grass. The lureplant farm seems the best option it looks like.
Lureplants have this glitch with boats that allows you to float on water if you have several around the edge of a boat and you jump into the lureplants you begin to float
Yeah i feel like jelly salad's gonna be nerfed a little cuz leafy meat in my opinion is much easier to get than electric milk or butter and the jelly salad is as good or even better than ice cream
7:30 just a note to people, this recipe is actually incorrect. You need at least two leafy meat and 2 honey to make it otherwise using only 1 leafy meat will result in honey nuggets instead!
I don't think you should kill grass gekkos because they spawn from grass tufts, which are not renewable. So basically killing a grass gekko is equivalent to burning a tuft of grass. Also at 7:23 you said 15 sanity but it only gives you 5 sanity.
Carrats are renewable, because carrots can reappear if the carrats are on the main land, the carrot can be a carrat or carrot. So short answer, yes. However I'm not aware if this has been changed or Is going to be changed.
Wormwood just got thrown up like 2-3 tiers on the dst tier-list. like, he can go shave the sea weed bro's no problem, so easy barnacles. he's neutral to the eye plants guarding the leafy meat bulbs, so easy leafy meat. it feels like klei just buffed wormwood with this update.
Unrelated related question as Wickerbottom rework beta is out and rolling, could you hypothetically make a macro morsel farm using birds of the world/feather cap and a lure plant? (Unsure whom is the subject for the question if either lure plants or queen Wicker).
Mushroom planter are not that great because you need living log to refuel them and you better use your living log for dark sword or other magic item. But maybe lureplant in a desert with cactus 🤔 The only issue is that you need to wait until the first spring to get some lureplant, and the second one to get a lot of them.

8 months late but pretty sure they aren't. But rocky turf, planks, carpeted flooring, cobblestones and marble turf are, so you have a lot of options. You can always start with a small 2x2 or 3x3 area where the eyes can't get you with a straight path of additional safe turf as means to get to your meat then expand later. Just keep in mind that eyeplants from different plants foght with each other and lureplants temporarily hide their meat when they do, which can be annoying. Oh, also, if your lureplant grows roots but doesn't spawn eyes nor meat for like a day, then it's glitched and you'll have to kill and replant it or it'll stay in that state forever. It happens quite often, too.
I'm sorry to ask a question about mods again, but I don't understand them at all. Can you tell me what are those gridlines that appear during construction, or what is the name of this mod?
I had a lure plant plot with 60 plants, i just killed them and stored in chest cuz i didnt need that much eggs, now it's a whole new thing. Also if i remember well, lureplants spawn decreases the more players are in ther server, i could be wrong, correct me if you know
I think you're right on the number of players thing however I have never really noticed the difference that much to even notice it so I wouldn't worry about it, especially as these lureplants farms take time and work no matter who is playing regardless. That is the one thing about everything that is coming to light, even though leafy meat may be getting better than it was the effort to reach efficient levels of the stuff may outweigh the benefits.
@@TheBeard777 yeah, the recipes reach the best level possibles, before that Ice cream was the best sanity restorer, and now we have these recipes with easy health values and hunger too, but reaching an efficient level is indeed really really hard, and takes time even with the spawn thing, it's not early game stuff
leafy meat loaf gives 37.5 hunger, cooked leafy meat give 18.8 hunger if u eat the 2 leafy meats u need to make leafy meatloaf u get more hunger and u get to keep what ever fillers u where going to use for the meatloaf so unless u can make it with twigs (which im not sure but i assume u cant) its probably not worth unless u reaaaly need the health and sanity (+8, +5 respectivly) and ur fillers dont already give u, as a side not if the fillers he used where the 2 carrots its reaaaly not worth as 1 cooked carrot gives 12.5 (i thikn its .5 not sure) hunger and 8 health

The Together part of that game is nothing more than a data collection service. Remember how they made u login with an account u have to create? Go read the EULA. The base game does not require a login.
It’s not a part of that game, it is the game. DST isn’t DLC, it’s completely standalone. Online games use accounts, mine uses my steam account. You don’t have to log into normal don’t starve because there’s absolutely no reason to log into normal don’t starve. There’s no reason to save your information on a cloud or differentiate you from other players because there are no other players.

Yup, they slightly tweaked in when the update fully released. It's why I revisited the recipes in another video just the other day.
