Thanks for putting this video. Can you explain how the eccentric motion in Gerotor as a motor is converted to a centric motion for the output shaft?

      Good day. Per Bill:
There is a splined shaft that
connects the two components - concentric shaft to eccentric orbiting
star. It is designed and hobbed to a specific shape to provide a relief
and transmit the high torque. This custom shaft is sometimes referred as
the “dog bone”.Sorry for the late reply on this.

can we use gear motor to function like hydraulic gear pumps ?

You said to convert pressure and flow into mechanical energy but pressure is just resistance to flow...

      No it isn't.

@@soggybottomboys2792 pressure drop / flow rate = resistance

lavatramp you don’t need a pressure drop to create flow😂

@@soggybottomboys2792 Yes you do. Flow is the result of differential pressures within a system and the movement of fluid to reach an equilibrium. Differential pressures are induced through pumps. Resistance to flow is a separate quantity as shown in the formula above - resistance is not equal to pressure as you stated initially. Pressure is a measure of the mechanical force exerted outwards by the fluid.
In regards to how that works in a hydraulic motor, the mechanical power output of a motor is proportional to (Pressure x Flow Rate) / 500.
