Roy Harper is an English folk singer. He met Page and Plant in 1970 and they became friends. He would sometimes open for them at their concerts. This song was recorded as their tribute to him.
I'm glad you took the time to listen to all the tracks from album III, and that you enjoyed them. Quite a unique collection of songs and, as you said, shows some of their versatility. There is a lot more incredible Zeppelin music to come. :)
I LOVE this song..hard blues to me...most comments I read are in the negative but I can FEEL this song
Roy Harper is also the vocalist on Pink Floyd's "Have a cigar" song.
See.... like I told you, expect the unexpected from The Mighty Led Zeppelin. Just go for the ride.
Always amazing! Go on to Zeppelin IV!
he was the vocals on pink floyds,,have a cigar, great song
200 Reaction Videos.... A Milestone you can be proud of. Reaching over 4,000 subscribers is a bigger milestone you can be even more proud of. Quality is the factor leading to your success. Your playlist is becoming the best of all of them I've seen. Legendary Bands and songs, one after another is too cool. Us serious Rockers really appreciate the time and effort to create such great content. Thanks again JM.
Taken from an old Delta Blues song, "Shake 'Em On Down" by Bukka White from 1937.
YES!
It's about time you do one for the Ladies, and me, cause I like them too... My Favorite Female Singer/Songwriter/Guitar/Keyboards is the amazing and beautiful Carly Simon. Please do this awesome song off her channel.... Coming Around Again / Itsy Bitsy Spider - Carly Simon
"Strange effect, I don't even know how to explain it".... Don't even try to explain the vocals of Robert Plant, just marvel at his amazing talents and smile.... like you do so well.
Even Live it's sound like this
"Stairway To Heaven" on the next L.Z. album. It is considered by many in the Top 5 Greatest Rock Songs Of All Time..... can't wait to see you find out why.. Have a Great Day.
"VOCALS".... I call this Lady "The Voice".... Chaka Khan - Got To Be There..... you'll like it so much, look at the camera and say Thank You.... I'll smile and say You're Welcome My Friend.
Can't wait to see what Number 201 is going to be... Grin. BRAVO.... MUCH RESPECT... you know why. I look forward to the real thing soon., BTW... I copied it before you deleted it. I may have to only copy of it now... too funny.
Views…. How many views a song gets is mostly dependent on how well known it is to the general public for "Searches" Many songs are what are called “Album Cuts” that were not often played on radio, so not well known if you didn’t have the album. Some of those songs are Legendary Classics and a real Must Hear/See if you are seeking the best of the best. Those are the songs I like to suggest first to reactors…. The results are always great like your reaction to Chambers Brothers - "Time Has Come Today".... I'm sure you understand.
Hey JMBOY, I thought I'd suggest another artist for you to check out, if interested "Bill Withers - Grandmas Hands (BBC In Concert, May, 11, 1974)" 🎶
JACK WHITE A Tip From Me to You or most anything else by him or White Stripes
