That poor closet! It has seen more abuse than any closet in TV history! 😂
reminds me of my closet and cabinets when I was a teenager.
Ricky’s mother, speaking Spanish.
Lucy, in response: “Yeah, well, yeah…”
She tried to pay the cab driver in pesos! 😂
I love the way 'Mother Ricardo' says 'Looceeta?' 🤣
Don't forget the other one: "Long time no see, Mickey!"
@@emsguybob LOL That was LUCY's mother Mrs. McGillicuddy. 😂
@@emsguybob Mickey Mikado?🤭
Can only imagine what Freds Mom looked like.
LOL!
She had to have been in her late 90s😅
Fun fact: the actress who played Mrs. Ricardo, was late Mexican actress, Mary Emery (Margarita Cavazos).
Como 😂
I think his mamacita arrived without warning so he was probably at rehearsal at the Tropicana. 🤔
Wish I could watch complete episodes. :)
How old is Fred's mother?🤭
She had to be in her 90s😅
I just realized:
My future wife won’t have to put up with a mother-in-law.
What a good friend Ethal is.
Geez, how old is a Fred’s mother?
where was ricky during all this? it seems like they were in dire need of a translator
It was like when Renita and friends of Ricky's came to visit the ricardos wantbof a translator
Isn't it just a little weird that Lucy has yet to learn a lick of Espanish?
Not by 1950's standards it's not!
Where did u see an American who volunteerly learns a second language?
@@lttrhd In colleges and universities. I'm 13th generation American and I speak FOUR languages.
@@retroguy9494 I wrote "volunteerly". You study languages for work, to make more money. And another thing: if you want to know language thoroughly, college or university is too late- you study them in your childhood. The earlier is the better.
@@lttrhd I know what you wrote. I may speak four languages, however English IS my native one.
I beg to differ with you. In my case, I studied them because I'm an intellectual who comes from a very old and at one time prominent American family. In the old families, it was common to learn other languages. There was no monetary expectation or hope of employment n it. It was simply part of education within certain classes.
Did you know that Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt both spoke three languages? English, French and German. Actually, Elanor also knew some Italian which would have made four.
The way my own education was set up, I began to learn my second language my freshman year of high school. My third during post graduate studies and my fourth on my own when I was in my 30's. That's the one in which I am least fluent.
Been with my Hispanic husband off and on 40 years and didn't worry about speaking Spanish 😒
Even many Hispanics don’t worry about it😂
@@Duquedecastro I know enough to to know what is being talked about just can't speak it good enough 😔
