RECOVERY COMES FROM YOU. This video had a lot of gems but this one was the one for me. I always believed that my "broken mind" needed to be fixed by someone else, but through commitment, acceptance, and flexibility I continue to improve little by little. I KNOW we all can. Nick KNOWS we all can. It's time for YOU to KNOW too! Best of luck!
I love how passionately you help people to gain knowledge about ocd recovery!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for all the help you give us.

You’re not alone my friend!
Ahhh your dog is gorgeous 🥰
Thanks Nick you have reminded me once again about core fears ...worst case scenario's and living with them. Not easy but I keep getting back on the horse 🐴 I wouldn't die if it were true...
Excellent video, nick 👏
Thank you so much! More videos to come for sure!
Thank you for this!

My friend 💪💪
Thank you!!
You’re more than welcome buddy!
Can you guys make a video of how to actually get down onto core beliefs or limiting beliefs on your own? Or how do you figure out which are core beliefs? Thank you!! Great video and great reminder
There are many videos on this account all about that.
If you search within the channel, Oliver has done a video on identifying core beliefs.
I have a type of somatic ocd. It’s difficult because its not so much thoughts that trigger my anxiety and OCD behavior, but a physical feeling, one that is basic to every human. I’m not sure I’m doing it right, but I’ve been trying to do exposures of the physical action and just sitting with the anxiety, feeling it, and slowly trying to let my mind understand that it is not something I should be anxious about. Currently waiting for the books from the reading list to arrive but I’m not sure if that’s the best way to do exposures?
Hey buddy! Have you watched my videos on this channel about somatic ocd! They could be a great place for you to start! And that’s awesome you ordered the books!
Can someone explain what unconditional utter (is there the word utter in there even?) life (?) and self acceptance means in a way that I as someone who doesn't understand English that well can understand it.
Is there maybe a video specifically about this term that I have missed?
It seems a bit vague to me.
Or a little bit too "always look on the bright side of life" kind of way.
But maybe that's the intention of it and I'm not in the right mindset right now to comprehend it.
I don't know.
I just wanted to ask what it basically means.
That's a cute dog by the way.
I don’t know
but my guess would be it means to accept whatever the thoughts and feelings are telling you and not react to them at all and live like they don’t exist .
I’m not sure if I’m correct tho and I may be wrong and this may not be very helpful .
Sorry my friend . We are here for you tho . And if you need anything I’m here .
Hey buddy I am going to make a separate video on this today! Basically how acceptance works and what it might be confused for! Stay tuned buddy!
@@axonhealth oh thx, that would be great.
Hello just a quick question so I spend 30 mins a day listening to Stubbornly Refuse to make yourself miserable of anything for 30 mins and watch your videos an hour a day. I still lead my normal life tho. Is it considered a compulsion?
Hey buddy! If I could just got off the tin here, it may seem like a little much. Than again you have to ask yourself and be honest, are you watching them for some sort of relief or "I need to get all the information I can get right now". Not an easy question to answer! Hope this helps!
@@axonhealth Hey Nick, thank you for your reply. I have come to the terms that recovery will take a while, it’s not that I want it to be perfect in a way, but I watch to learn because I am somewhat interested as the OCD recovery journey has given me some interesting insights about the human brain. But there could be small parts of me where I want to learn to get on the right path 😅. How long would you recommend I work on my OCD recovery every day tho cuz I really feel lost about the duration. Again thank you so much you have no idea how much this is helping me.
