This is how good he is Snarky Puppy called Larnell at the last minute to fill in on their tour starting in Sweden. He learned all of the tour songs on the flight over.7hours! got off the plane had a 3-hour rehearsal then onstage that night. I've been touring, session work, and producing for the last 55 years. I don't think anyone at that table could hold a candle to this man. He is next level. Listen to Larnell Lewis Zildjian Live
the middle guy keeps saying things that make him sound really insecure. lighten up dude, just cause he's hotter than you and an incredible artist doesn't make you any less of... whatever you happen to be.
Larnell, you need to take the middle man on tour with you, he seems to know everything about drumming.
Watch him with snarky puppy. I drum as well. His snarky puppy appearance…..amazing.
He grew up in Canada in a church environment, I think that's why he wasn't exposed to Metallica!
Canada has nothing to do with it….we have some of the best hard rock and metal artists ever.
I'm 50 and I never heard this song before 😂 and as Larnell Lewis, it's only jazz for me since I'm a kid 🤗 Larnell is a just a genius. Sorry for my english, this is not my mother tongue.
Lars is good but Larnell is on another level.
Totally agree. Larnell can do Lars but I guarantee Lars can't do Larnells work
Larnell play this song so much better than Lars!
My favorites are Neil Peart, Carter Beaufort, Larnell, Danny Carey (Tool), and the late Buddy Rich. There is something called "The Impossible Drum Solo" by him on here. He has a heart attack mid solo and finished the song. He waved to the crowd, walked off stage, and went straight to the hospital.
@@johncampbell756 great list. Thank you.
Not from England he's from Canada
now let Lars try to play ANY song Larnell can play ! lol
I see a looot off hate coming from the man in the middle (i assume he’s the drummer)… I got news for you my friend, you have no idea how good Larnell is… he’s on a higher level then Neil (Rush) or a Mike Portnoy (now Dream Theater again) combined… He’s got more talent in his pinky then you ever will possess… stay humble my friend, show no hate because others will see this too…!
It's actually hilarious. The best part of this piece is Larnell's intro into the solo and none of them even mentioned it. Alot of insecurity in feeling here
The Chad Smith one would be cool!
A new drummer has topped my list. el Stephano Siberiano... he has a youtube channel and he is out of this world. do yourself a favor and check him out
Guy in the middle is a buzzkill
Hope you check out chad smith playing 30 seconds to mars on drumeo
el estepario siberiano number 1. nandi Bushnell will be there in 10 years too
Lars never plays the song the same way twice. So basically he is the TJ Maxx or Big Lots of drumming
Chad Smith.. The legend Phil Collins
Carter Beauford 🐐
your mic sounds so 80s
Perfect! No we had some issues. But we got it worked out.
Alright I’m not subbing. I’ve watched. This dude said “not good for govenemebt work”. But I bet y’all can’t spell government.
Y’all! Must be a fellow Southern!
@@MagicianandtheJock Canadian actually. But we say y’all too. If it needs it.
@@Gnomojo never knew that. Thanks
Meh…
Yo yall should really check him out doin his music. His zildjian live is amazing.
