The background dancers are a dance group from LA called the LAB. As a matter of fact this was shot in LA. The girl you saw in the beginning of the video who raised her eyebrow is the choreographer and she was just 19 years old at the time. If you are an LA native you should be proud! There is also the making of this video and also a dance practice video.

So, you've seen Butter... Megan Thee Stallion did a remix with the boys... and '3J', ie Jimin (jumped over Jungkook), Jungkook (did the solo) and J-Hope (did the first rap verse), did a very nice choreography for Megan's rap verse. ruclips.net/video/IkeZX2hnoOk/видео.html
These three are the 'dance line' (though V is included as well; he's the one here with the neck tattoo). Jimin is a ballet and contemporary-trained dancer, J-Hope was a famous street dancer before he joined BTS (now dance captain for the group), and Jungkook is just incredibly talented and athletic. Jimin and J-Hope are ranked among the top 5 dancers in Korea- and the other boys keep up with them, which says a lot about their skills.
'Filter' and 'Lie' showcase some, not nearly all, of Jimin's skills; J-Hope's 'Chicken Noodle Soup' with Becky G and 'Ego' show some of his style, and Jungkook's 'My Time' shows his abilities. V's neo-soul 'Singularity' was largely choreographed by him. Groupwise: Black Swan is a masterpiece of art; Fake Love, Idol, Fire, Dope, We Are Bulletproof, and Dionysus all have strong and very complex choreos. Try to catch the live or award show versions, or dance practices; mvs often cut out segments, as you probably know.
So the girl in the beginning, that you mentioned is the choreographer and she was 18/19 years old ( I think her name is Sienna, but may be wrong) The dancers are "The Lab". The young choreographer learned Korean so that she could teach BTS the dance. The marching band from UCLA participated in the recording of the music. Then there was an American gospel choir that did backing tracks. This is a fabulous production. 1 of the performances (I think it is MMA 2020) they perform this on a football field. Cheerleaders doing flying stunts, multiple dance breaks, fireworks, drum lines, etc.
Then they performed it live with "The Lab" at their 4 LA concerts. You can find a link it is so worth the watch. I can watch this a billion times and I still get awwed.
They say BTS and ARMY finds you when you need them the most.💜
I love how much you enjoy their dancing! BTS are indeed really amazing dancers. You should watch their dance practice videos. They are the best at showing the full choreo for the songs. I highly recommend watching the ON dance practice. It’s the same choreography as in this video but since it’s practice, the background dancers totally hype them up, it’s so awesome. I Love this stage performance ....all choreography version!!!! It's brilliant! The drums and band were recorded and performed by the UCLA band. The dance troupe choreographer was center stage in the front row in the beginning shot...a young girl from Hawaii. And she choreographed the whole BTS dance!!! Watch the Behind the scenes....it's cool to see the drone photography. And you can see how many times they had to perform .....and yes, they rehearsed over and over. Over 10 hours a day....for all their performances. BTS is THE Best at Choreography!!! They filmed lots of versions of this song with fun varied choreographies and settings!

The choreographer of this masterpiece is that first girl that you pointed out with the eyebrow lift. Her name is Sienna Lalau. She was 19 years old when she choreographed this, and she comes from Samoa. Here is some advice:
1- one earphone is not a good idea. You don’t get to appreciate the fantastic music.
2- you seem to pause at bad moments. When you do pause, go back 5 seconds so as not to miss anything. Anything can happen in a BTS video in a fraction of a second.
3- your enthusiasm is great , but don’t let it overtake you. Take time to enjoy it.
A few interesting facts about the mv for BTS "ON" official video:
The dance portion was choreographed by Sienna Lalau, from the LA area when still in her teens. She appears in the video leading the dancers up front & center at the beginning of the video.
Sienna also choreographed BTS's "Dionysus" performance dance (watch it live, amazing) and J-hope's "Chicken Noodle Soup " (and dances in it also).
The dancers were from THE LAB, a multinational dance troup Sienna works with & who BTS has used while on tour in the US.
The band appearing in the mv is "The Blue Devils", a competitive Drum and Bugle Corp .
The video was filmed at the Sepulveda dam outside LA.

When I introduce people to BTS I have them watch some of the English songs, which I see you have done, then I go with Black Swan because it really shows a vibe and even deeper side of the band, while also declaring self acceptance and worth just like ON. As for dance, Black Swan Blew me away with the dance there too. Then I would go into MicDrop, Fire and many many others.
Man if you like that you going to have an attack watching their MMA 2019 perfomance. MIND BLOWING!

A famous LA dance studio is Millennium Dance Complex in Studio City... if you've ever seen a choreography video where the background is a red wall with the phrase "Unity In Diversity", that's Millennium.
Also this performance video was shot at the Sepulveda Dam in San Fernando Valley.

Shawn, you gotta check out the following BTS live performances: " Black Swan" on James Corden Show, "Idol" and "I'm Fine" and "ON" at Grand Central Station on Jimmy Fallon. Also, please check out their 2019 MMA live performance, you gotta watch the beginning to the end, about 30+ minutes long but trust me, you will be blown away). Their 2018 MMA and 2020 MMA are great as well. "Dionysus", "DNA", "Fake Love", "Blood Sweat and Tears" are also recommended. Also, their performance rehearsal videos are worth checking out as you could see the whole choreography.
Loved your pure and enthusiasm in watching the mv. How about checking out MIC DROP WITH STEVE AOKI, DOPE, IDOL DNA, BLACK SWAN, DYNAMITE, BUTTER,, BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS,and many more.
if you like aggressive dancing, you'll like Dope :) Then if you want more aggressive dancing Mic drop Steve Aoki remix, then from there I'd suggest Black Swan :) After you're familiar with Mic Drop then the live performance on SNL has a cool dance break at the end and then watch their live performance of Boy With Luv they have great dance choreography, I don't think with Boy With Luv it matters if you see the video first like with Mic Drop. After you're familiar with Boy With Luv live performance choreo, I really like Hipevision, another Russian dance cover group, they really nailed a cover of Boy With Luv it's so fun to see their version, you love dance so much I think you'd enjoy watching dance covers I really do :) Last, after you've seen the Black Swan video, catch some fancam footage of Black Swan from their recent PTD concert in LA, it was beautiful (don't watch online footage from October concert, V wasn't able to perform he had an injury) ENJOY :)

BTS puts dance practice videos out on their channel too. If you want to see another version of this, they did it Live at Grand Central Station, NY for Jimmie Fallon show just before the pandemic hit. They didn't get to perform in front of an audience at concert until their 4 sold-out shows in LA late November/early December 2021. Shame if you didn't get to go if you're in LA. Also, others answered but the girl who raised the eyebrow was the choreographer for this. They used UCLA Marching Band for some of the track, as well as a gospel chorus. BLACK SWAN please. There is an MV and several different versions for lives, and probably dance practices, as well as part of the 2020 MMA (Melon Music Awards, one of 3 or 4 songs they performed). Did you see the American Music Awards in November? They performed their collab with Coldplay, My Universe, and also their hit song Butter there, and also won Artist of the Year and 2 other awards there.
You're amusing, first time watching. You should react to "tear" live version, Live version is so intense. You can see their emotions. It's sad but so good.

Sienna Lalau is the choreographer. She's the girl at the intro of the video. She has also choreographed JLo, Missy Elliott and Ciara to name a few. World of Dance Season 2 champions The Lab were performing alongside them.

The instrumentals were recorded by the UCLA marching band and the Blue Devils drum corps. Some members are the background dancers and Marchers.
The place is actually in L.A.. It's the L.A. wash at the Sepulveda Bridge. The dance group is called the Lab from Texas. And the choreographer was actually the first person you see at the beginning of the video. The band you see and hear is actually a mix of UCLA's marching band, jazz band and an L.A. gospel choir that u hear. Believe me when I say that with k pop fans, whatever question you may have one of us if not all of us will be able to answer for you.
You should get a sing list from the beginning, which is "No More Dream." To their latest which is, "Premission to Dance," and "Butter." You should do a few reactions...and remember that's not including guides, storyline videos or solo projects...just start with their videos and see if you want to go from there...good luck!
Ohh, if you love choreography you need to react to Not Today. The official MV is great but to really see the amazing moves and shots I suggest watching the choreography MV. Their footwork in this dance is second to none!

There are often several versions of the Official" music video.
The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out"
"Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project.
“With Seoul” is a BTS song and film highlighting Seoul as a vacation spot. The original also shows them recording it. They have also done 3 other versions, including a “short” on 2020-09-11; a beautiful drone visual of Seoul (The Four Seasons of Seoul” on 2019-12-30, & an amazing drone visual mv on 2021-01-09.
My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh.
There are loads of their other songs including some of my favorites: “Dionysus”, “Ma City”, “Truth Untold”, ”Outro: Tear”, “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “Dimple”, “Butterfly”, etc. and their solo, rapline, vocal line, short films, comeback trailers, etc. not included.
They practice their dancing from 12 to 16 hrs a day and they practice their singing running on treadmills…👍

As you probably already know, BTS has 7 members.... they are a very close "family" and totally genuine.
The group has 3 rappers (RM, J-hope, & SUGA {aka Agust D} and 4 vocalists (Jungkook, Jin, V, & Jimin). The best way to get absorb each member's style is to dive into their solos, as well as the Rapline & Vocal line performances. Here are some suggestions. I am planning to learn this choreo. I've learnt idol,not today, dynamite,boy with luv and PTD. This one looks tough as hell but I'll do it as a fanboy. Moreover fanboys are rare so this is atleast what can do.
