Geoff and Kathy borrowed a lot of props from PattyCake Productions, but Geoff built the tomb himself in his garage! Most of the costuming is the same from Misty Mountains Cold, and I See Fire, but Gimli's was put together for this production. I am so in love with this cover of Song of Durin.
Geoff is just amazing! His solo work is the best thing that came out of the pandemic. He only has one piece that makes me feel neutral.... Love your boring song!!
Loved each of the characters in this arrangement. They all nailed it!! How does Geoff do this. So, so good! Bored today and you brought me Geoff. Thanks!
Brad, have you seen the LOTR movies? It's interesting that he chose to dress as Gimli, from those, while the other characters are from The Hobbit films. But I think he's going for "Ghost Dwarves In The Tomb" thing. Anyway, this is so amazing. First place! 💙
@@vvoof2601 I've only watched a few reactions, but I hope SOMEONE else geeks out at seeing Gimli, because I totally did! I'll feel a bit silly if I'm the only one. 🤣💙
So. Apparently, the reason he brought Gimli in is because he sings this song in the books. And the tomb is...Balin's? I think. Who was part of Thorin's company.
Left to right: Fili/Goff. Thorin Oakenshield/Daryl, Gimli/Jeoph, Kili/Geoff, and Bofur/Jeff. This version of The Song of Durin is based on the one created by Clamavi De Profundis: ruclips.net/video/uxfoa23skHg/видео.html Gimli's helmet, axe, and beard were especially built for this video. Fun fact: Thorin Oakenshield is Kathy's favorite dwarf.
I don't generally like using cliches, but Geoff really, truly does have an embarrassment of riches vocally and musically. He can shake the Earth with his resonant bass and still somehow sing tenor so bright and clear, you wouldn't even know he's a basso profundo at all. Add to that his gift for arranging music that seems to have a life of its own, it puts him in a class all by himself.
That range is crazy.
I swear every time I hear something from Geoff Castellucci just expect something from him. That’s going to knock my socks off. And he never fails.
And somehow each new creation is different and a bit better than the one before. His arrangements are fascinating.

Geoff makes my Tolkien fan heart so happy.
He's just so talented.

It syill amazes me that this is one person singing these harmonies.
Thanks for this reaction. Geoff's Song of Durin is wonderful

Geoff is amazing. There was a whole lot of work put into this. You can never go wrong with Geoff. Love your reaction!
Geoff's version of Song of Durin measured on the Richter scale.
Geoff blew the Richter scale apart. He just keeps getting better every time.
Bro brought down the mines of Moria with this one! 🤣
Thank you Brad for another great reaction to Geoff. You're awesome .

Yeah it's odd how he's got nerdy figurines but hasn't seen LOTR.
