ROBERT!!!! You don't have to be sick to have a reason to take it a bit slower and rest more. Do it BEFORE you get sick. Physical illness like flu can be the cause of lower defensive system caused by long term stress. It'll last longer and feel terrible. You can expand your release schedule, it is ok, health first!
Not Robert, but I really appreciate this reminder, bc I have been going too hard lately and really need an excuse to rest without feeling guilty about it ❤
@@MrsRitchieBlackmore this message can be for everyone. I sometimes forget too, but I've been less sick after I started noticing my overload stress reactions. Overall we should appreciate our wellbeing and free-time (aka life) better and not compete in being workaholics.
I used to feel sick once a week or so back when I worked as a store manager. Ever since I quit to work on a farm (because animals are way better) I rarely ever get sick. The added sun also helped so so much. My stylist says my hair is growing significantly faster due to the extra sun! I’ll never go back to customer service or stuck in a building 8-10 hours a day. Not worth my health

Affordable makeup is a life saver. I remember when Essence I
That was the only mascara I used in high school and it was the best! A year or so ago, I decided to purchase it again for the sake of a bit of nostalgia and they definitely changed the formula. It flaked on me so bad and smudged on my upper lids. Oh well. Essence makes some good stuff though definitely.

“inexpensive doesn’t always mean cheap” is something my mom drilled into me
but I've never tried any cheap makeup that was good unless it's one of those rare beauty brands you buy online that are indie where they sell stuff for like 12 bucks and I've tried all the drugstore stuff. I'd say get cheap eyeliner and lip products and mascara if you can't spend an extra 10$ on good ones, but skin products, you shouldn't use the cheap stuff. You only have one face and it doesn't deserve to get smothered in all those bad ingredients that cheaper brands use that irritate your skin.

Being Polish it warms my heart to see Robert using something from Bell. If you get your hands on something from Eveline next, they developed during few last years and have really nice quality products. I like the hydra powder from Varieté line very much, I don't remember which luxury brand had wet powder before, it's the same concept just for much less.
It's also kind of weird hearing that Miss Sporty is not releasing products anywhere else :D I think it's the cheapest makeup in drug stores but I like their brow products.
And the Charming Mocha eyeshadow palette
It was Becca's (now defunct brand, unfortunately) Hydra-Mist loose powder :)
I'm from eastern europe(btw, troszki rozmawiam po polsku) and I feel the same! My favourite mascara is Eveline variete, this brand also have 4$ dupe for nars orgasm blush!
There was a woman selling Polish makeup (Vipera) at one of the shopping centres. The best lipstick EVER! So so comfortable to wear.
I also bought Eveline miscellar water. Far superior to many brands.
The East Europeans know how to take care of the skin. Black people know how to take care of the hair and nails. I'm always keen on trying and using East European skin care (and cosmetics).
The lashes just had me😂 but everything else looks nice. Thanks for showing us what Amazon has to offer on the “cheap.”

We have problems with dragons in my area as well, always raking in the bins 😂. Technic available in body care shops in uk
I couldn't help but giggle upon hearing "last night there was thunder and lightning, it's the end of summer"; it was the same here in Australia last night, that's the beginning of summer for us.

You've probably heard of Technic before because we stock it in Wilko! Their lipstick smells straight up like wax crayons but the eyeshadows are good as you've demonstrated 😁

with everything done, including lashes you still look absolutely beautiful! Your cheap make up Monday is better than my glam Friday. Also, foundation seems to be the hardest thing for people to purchase themselves. Either it’s the right color and it’s 2KK, or it’s a perfect formulation and finish but the color is incorrect, or everything looks beautiful and then a few hours in it’s a greasy and separating… Finding the perfect foundation would be an amazing thing.

I have both this green technic pallette and the blue and let me tell you....THE BLUE STRETCHES AND BLENDS FOR DAYS! these small palettes from technic that are pretty much a dupe for HUDA's jewel ones are just amazing for how cheap they are
As someone who grew up in a poor country with not a lot of money I've learned that expensive does not mean good. I have used mostly drug store makeup my entire life and an eyeshadow pallet where you get 50 colours for 7 $ (14 of the curency we use here) and I've created some amazing makeup looks with it. Was it too pigmented, no not really besides the darker shades (red, blue, pure and black) but for the price it was more than good. My favorite eyeliner is from Essence, extremely cheap AND THE BEST I've ever tried. On the other hand, I have tried some really high end and expensive makeup products and they were really bad...

My favorite eyeliner for the waterline is from Essence. I put it up against UD's 24/7 and Marc Jacob's. It beat those 2 brands out by a long shot. It's not the one he used. The ones that are retractable but I'm okay with that. For the price I don't mind if I waste some by sharpening...
that technic palett is very popular here in sweden, it'a dupe for Huda beautys similar palettes, dont remember their name. but they are really good. The other ones are my favorites with more warm and nude colors 😍

Robert have you tried Lethal Cosmetics? you can create your own palettes and the colours and formulas are BEAUTIFUL. The prices are really good too, they are based in Germany but I believe they ship worldwide.

Technic is such a great underdog, I have couple of their things and it’s really not that bad as you’d think😊.
YES to Robert x Technic!! Technic, together with Essence and Catrice, is the extra affordable brand which is available online (talking for Italy), and I think it's quite good, I got recently some lipsticks and lip oils and I really like them. Moreover: I like this kind of videos because I have a lot of affordable products and palettes especially (for example many Magnif'eyes ones from Rimmel, but also Technic, W7...), and to see them being used by a professional is inspiring and makes me want to use them more and better, when I know that they actually CAN perform well! Please Robert keep doing this!

The essence eyeliner pencils are really good they dont budge ! U just need to warm them up on back of your hand if u find it a little hard .
Those lashes would be great for a Betty Boop cosplay 😂😂 I love the greens in that palette though! Might have to check it out 🤔

The fact that I knew/use all of those brands speaks volumes about my financial situation 😂 Technic has the best dupes in the market (mostly Huda dupes), and recently they even launched a few skincare products and they look great so far. The pallete you used in the video is a bit old and I know they improved the formula in recent launches in case someone is interested.
I HAVE to recommend other brands like CORAZONA or 3ina, the first one is an affordable brand born in Spain and their eyeshadows are STUNNING. 3ina is more pricey but has really good reviews, also they have a wide colour range in lipsticks (green lipstick is not that common tbh).

I love NYX and ELF. I don't wear makeup often so spending less is preferable. I do use IT and Tarte foundations, I get the travel size. Good or great makeup doesn't have to cost a fortune.
Colourpop was my first makeup and I still love some of those palettes so much!

I was SHOCKED with Essence mascara! I tried it in a whim when I needed some mascara but didn't want to spend 20 bucks. Eventually my current mascara dried out so I tried the Essence and it was just as good!

As a Polish I'm happy you tried some polish brand cosmetics (bell and miss sporty). Please try Eveline. They are rly popular in Poland and their quality are just amazing. They got wonderful makeup lines and skincare (something for James too).

Bell have so many good face products. Most amazing contour bronzers, great foundarions, better concealer than the one you tested. It's like elf brand for many polish ppl.

I had a red version of that technic-eye palette and I LOVED IT.
I used every last drop of it and misses it so much and havent found anyone even near as good for the price in sweden (or anyone online that ships the techic one for a reasonable price) since 😭😭😭
