Dienet dem Höchsten mit herrlichen Chören,
lasst uns den Namen des Herrschers verehren!

Cheer, rejoice, get up and praise the days,
boast about what the Most High has done today!
Leave your hesitation, banish complaining,
ring in the cheering and joyfulness!

I think if Bach had first rate players and singers with which to work, this would likely be the sound he heard in his head!
Im not sure! Bach and Händel were great composers,but difficult personalities! They had great demands on singers!☝️

Truly divine. The rhythmic precision and verve are superb, heightened by the singers digging into accented syllables and backing off unaccented ones. The text rendering is crystalline.
Wonderful! To me this is the ultimate sized set-up for this piece.
I would like to have heard the female voices louder, but that's for sure a technical question on microphone positioning.. Maybe I better come to your concerts.😊
