Rio is no doubt my favorite movie from Blue Sky Studios. It’s definitely way better than Ice Age with its’ funny characters, catchy songs, and amazing animation. It’s a huge love letter to the city of Rio De Janeiro and it introduce new people, myself included to the city of Brazil. I can hope that Rio 3 will be a great one, the second movie is fine, but not as good as the first so let’s hope that the third movie is worth it.
I'm really interested to see where this gonna go! I love Rio! (Excluding the sequel). Hopefully this turns out food. I won't keep my hopes up though, it's Dinsey.
The ABSOLUTE BIG PROBLEM that i will have with this and the future Ice Age movies (yes, they're making the 7th one) is that they will be absolutely unnessecary and the animation studio behind it (Bardel Entertainment) aren't good enough to pass the torch from Blue Sky studios, you could say Locksmith Animation would have been the appropriate choice but the thing is L.A. from now on will distribute future animated Warner Bros films. This isn't Bardel Entertainment's fault, its Disney's.
Rio and Ice Age were my childhood, and I’ve wanted a Rio 3 for so long! A lot of people don’t feel enthusiastic for it, I have hope! As long as the animation isn’t like The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild and the story is pretty good, then I think it’ll be somewhat decent! I’m really excited for Rio 3, and can’t wait for it!
I think Rio 3 will have better animation than ice age 6. I mean I don’t think the animation would be good but I think it would be better than ice age 6. I think ice age 6 had a rushed production for like 2 year or something? But rio 3 (or as I rather call it Blu and jewel 3) was announced in 2019 and was confirmed in 2021. That is 3 years ago. And in 2024 I don’t think it’s coming out. Inless it comes out last minute I think it would come out in 2025. And that would be almost 6 years after it was announced. I think they worked on the animation better. Also I wish this movie never came out. And if it does. PLEASE MAKE IT ABOUT BLU! HE IS THE REASON WHY I WATCH THIS 6/10 MOVIE!
Oh, thank goodness! I feel so relieved to know that a third “Rio” instalment is finally making a comeback, 7 years after “Rio 2” came out. Although, I wonder if Bardel Entertainment will be handling the animation for that movie instead of Blue Sky Studios, which shut down in 2021. That’s what already happened with “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild”, which is more of a stand-alone (spin-off) sequel movie. I would rather let some “other” studio with better animation be handling the co-production of “Rio 3”. Take “Reel FX Creative Studios” for a good example. What do you think about that?
_Rio_ is one of my favorite Blue Sky Studios films (possibly one of my favorite animated films of all time), so I'm just glad it's coming back at all. Yeah, Rio was one of those movies I rewatched many times as a kid, along with 101 Dalmatians, The Lorax, Free Birds, Ratatouille, Sing, and Ferdinand. I thought the sequel to it was fine (I saw it in theaters with my old friend, Nathan back when it was released), but a threequel is kinda worrying a bit, especially with Blue Sky dead.
Everybody kept begging about Rio 3, well, there you go, I hope your happy! (I'm not, because Blue sky was shut down last year, and Disney just ruins their legacy)
I loved the first Rio movie, the cast was great, scenery was beautiful, music was awesome!🤩 The plot with how daily smugglers threaten wildlife and kill precious animals was on point.👍And I also love Blu and Jewel's journey and relationship😍 2nd movie did great, I can understand where 1 or 2 people *may* (I'm saying may)😲 have expected the "you're not one of us" cliche when Blu was having trouble with the routine of the blue macaw tribe and survival techniques, and I know that some may have predicted Nigel to be in Rio 2 and didn't like it, I respect that they may not like that kind of plot.😌 But in my personal opinion, I actually liked it,⚠️ *SPOILERS* ⚠️ and I found Abby - the tree frog to be hilarious😆, Charlie - anteater was a little forgettable 🤷♀️. I like that we see Linda and Tulio in the Amazon, the deforestation message always gives me chills when we see Blu looking at the destruction of loggers. I think the ending of the movie is where it should have been left, but if we're getting a 3rd movie.... let's hope it's good. Because if Disney's in charge, I feel like their just gonna sugarcoat over the life threatening situation of Blue macaws🙄😡😥 That was a lot to type

Blu got his journey of not being able to fly and learning the life of being a father
Just these 2 films are good enough and a good enough conclusion
RIO 3 is it really happening ahhhhh!!!!! I’m so excited that my movie
I really hope that Rio 3 won’t be a disaster without Blue Sky Studios
I love Rio it’s one of my favourite animated movies I’ve ever watched (also counting the 2nd movie) so I’m definitely NOT on board for this the original studio was shut down and after seeing that new ice age series I’m definitely not going to waist my time to watch it
Yeah, Rio was one of those movies I rewatched many times as a kid, along with 101 Dalmatians, The Lorax, Free Birds, Ratatouille, Sing, and Ferdinand. I thought the sequel to it was fine (I saw it in theaters with my old friend, Nathan back when it was released), but a threequel is kinda worrying a bit, especially with Blue Sky dead.
Geez that was almost a trick there you say how you like it then suddenly say that’s why your NOT on board XD
1:21 I like how this teaser poster has 100% better animation than the film
Yeah what’s that all about?
Everybody kept begging about Rio 3, well, there you go, I hope your happy! (I'm not, because Blue sky was shut down last year, and Disney just ruins their legacy)
I hope we at least some of the voice cast back, Kristin Chenoweth and Luiz Guzman are probably a safe bet.
Hopefully they’ll keep the characters original, it’s been years
What Disney should have done is to let Pixar absorb Blue Sky Studios. Just a thought. Don't know if that would have been financially but hey 🤷🏾♂️
Pixar knows how to make good animations
Regardless If it’s good or not , I’m just glad it’s coming back .
Because if Disney's in charge, I feel like their just gonna sugarcoat over the life threatening situation of Blue macaws🙄😡😥
That was a lot to type
First Ice Age, then Rio. What's next Robots? It's not gonna be the same without Blue Sky :/
Oh god I hope the fuck not!
Another problem with Rio returning, Blu and his family's species are gone
Wait what.
Awh crap
@@Howellatthemoon25 yes the species blu was based on is extinct
It says that they are vulnerable when I looked it up.
The blue Spix's macaw is extinct in the wild, but fortunately they still exist in captivity and people are trying to breed them to release them into the wild.
I liked the two rio movies, it teaches us about bird life with its own fantasy in it
I’m glad that an underrated film franchise from my childhood is coming back the world needs it now I hope it’s not a disaster
Disney legit said “ill do it my self”
Even though the seriously didn’t need to
Can we all imagine a world without Disney? Why do you keep watching their movies?
I don't know why people watch there movies. I quit giving Disney my money after they bought Fox
why do people use amazon? same exact reason
Even if it will be a disaster I would love seeing a third movie.
We’ve been all gunning for a Rio 3 since the second movie released in 2014, but even with Blue Sky closed down. I’m hoping that Carlos Saldanha is still somewhere involved at least.
I love the movie Rio it was my entire childhood
The animation on the new Ice Age movie looks like some low-tier Boomerang channel crap. Can't imagine what Rio 3 will look like.
I am willing to give Rio 3 a chance
It Sucks that Rio 3 isnt being made by Blue Sky...They were the best Animation company of my Childhood, If Disney is making Rio 3 They Better Do it Right and not make a mess of the Film ive been waiting for to get a 3rd installment
Im still counting on you Disney, don't mess the rio 3 up.
I litterally saw a video aboaut the rio movies a few hours ago. What an tremendous fudging coincidence!
“Disney isn’t THAT money hungry”
Disney:
Rio brings back nostalgia. I remember seeing it for the first time back in 2013
Hope Rainmaker Entertainment is apart of “Rio 3”, since their “Ratchet & Clank” film looks pretty cool.
i feel bad for BlueSky Studios
THERE'S ALSO ONE MORE THING.... THE RIO MOVIES WERE MADE TO BRING AWARENESS OF THE ENDANGERED SPECIES BUT AFTER THE 2ND MOVIE THE ACTUAL LAST 2 BIRDS WENT EXTINCT SO ITS PRETTY MESSED UP THAT DISNEY DOESN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT WUT THE MOVIES WERE EVEN FOR
Tbh, Disney doesn't care about anything anymore except money.
@@starwaves1631 EXACTLY! REMEMBER THE DESCENDANTS FRANCHISE? THE KID LATERALLY PASSED AWAY RIGHT B4 THE 3RD MOVIE WAS ABOUT PRIMER. HE WORKED WITH DISNEY HIS WHOLE LIVE, JUST BECAME 20, AND NEVER EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO START HIS ADULT LIFE B4 PASSING AWAY IN HIS SLEEP.
ITS NICE THAT THEY HELD UP THE PRIMER AND DONATED TO ALL HIS FAVORITE CHARITIES. BUT THEN THEY'RE ALL LIKE "OK NOW THAT THAT'S OVER ON TO THE 4TH MOVIE" WUT THE HECK DISNEY!?! GOOD THING THAT THE REST OF THE STAFF PUT THEIR FOOT DOWN AND SAID NO. ALL THOSE KIDS LATTERLY GREW UP TOGETHER ON DISNEY AND SEEING THAT THE COMPANY WAS QUICK TO REPLACE THEIR FRIEND JUST LIKE THAT. THAT'S MESSED UP
Actually, while the blue Spix's macaw is sadly extinct in the wild, they still exist in zoos and people are doing what they can to breed them and release them in the wild again.
@@cintronproductions9430 ITS SAD
Learned of the first movie via "Angry Birds Rio," and did watch the second film. Not sure if I'd like the third one unless I hear more about it.
I predicted there’ll be a 3rd movie last year after watching a video of a bunch of parrots swearing lmao 🤣
They should honestly sell the Rio IP to a different studio and bring the original team back on board.
If there’s a rio 3, then there’s a chance that rovio will acknowledge angry birds rio again and give us a new update for it. Cross my fingers. Or they could put it in an update for angry birds reloaded.
This movie franchise made up a massive chunk of my childhood, so I’m reeeeeaalllly hoping they don’t screw this movie up. I’ve been waiting years for any sort of news on a possible Rio 3 ! 💓💕💗
Well at least Rio is returning
Oh my god! It's finally happening! I don't care if blue sky studios has been shut down! Welcome Back Rio!!
Rio was the first movie I remember watching so I really hope Rio 3 isn’t terrible
Its one of the first i remember watching. For me, #1 goes to Spider-Man 1
Hope so too
I feel like Rio closed its book with 2. There said and done. It feels really useless to me for a 3rd movie. It might be another cash grab like they did with the live action & 3D remakes of older movies.
hopefully the third one will be good
The second one was okay on my opinion
Bro this was my childhood. Like yeah, wish the original studio had control over it, but at the same time, who knows, maybe Disney can change the perspective of the franchise and make it not only live up to the past two movies but maybe make it better? But that’s wishful thinking. We’ll see what happens when it arrives
Guys, let’s not complain about this, I’m sure Rio 3 is going to be amazing. If Disney makes Fantastic movies like Encanto, then Disney can definitely make an amazing sequel of a Blue Sky movie.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild: Are you sure about that?
@@Sqweezr10-27 hmm
I'm glad Rio is coming back but it won't be the same without Blue Sky Studios
