Having a means of water at home is vital. My only experience with my well during the last 33 years other than positive was due to failure of the check valve on the discharge of my pump. A crew from the company that originally drilled the well came out, pulled the pump out by hand, replaced the faulty check valve & inspected the pump. They said that they would normally recommend replacing the pump at the age mine was at the time, but after they wiped it down, they noted that I had a reliable brand. We decided to keep the old pump in service and still at it 8-9 years later. Interesting stuff those well drillers/service guys do.
Glad to see it is fixed. I have actually been worrying about your well and i have never met you! We went through this in the late 1970s when i was a teen. I remember my Dad worrying himself over it.
In Albany County, NY banks won’t approve a loan unless well has a minimum of 5gpm recovery. I’m in the same predicament as you. We have a low recovery well and we fill a 250 storage tank with float valve in our basement. We’ve hydro fractured and gone from less than a 1/4gpm to 1.75gpm. We’re 580’ down through shale and bedrock.
That’s pretty wild. Only thing the county was concerned about with my well I’d that the water was clean. They came out and tested it to make sure it was riddled with bacteria. No concerns about recovery rate.
I never saw anything like this and was quite impressed. I have seen the WWD trucks in our area and always wondered what they can do. I am sure this was only a part of their abilities. Thank you for posting!
The things you don't realize how it works until you see it on RUclips. Thanks for sharing Elliott.
It’s a pretty impressive operation, glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!

It's certainly out of my area of expertise, was very interesting to watch them to work! I learned a thing or two that's for sure!
Thanks for filming this! Don't get to see this type of work very often and it was very interesting! Glad the well is back up and running!
I thought it was super interesting! Thanks for watching!

It certainly wasn’t an enjoyable couple weeks. Glad it’s fixed! Thanks for watching!
Some of the coolest work in my opinion, it's super intriguing
I thought it was super interesting, I sat and watched the entire time
@@EverythingElliott what company did it? It might have been where my uncle works
Glad you got your well in a better status. I had my pump give out Friday night.
I didn’t realize how expensive the pumps were until those guys told me they are a couple grand
Yeah, I lucked out on price honestly. The old pump was the original when they drilled the well in 95
Good video for people on well water
I thought so too, pretty informative on how the process works!
Very cool!!! Thanks for sharing
I found the process to be super interesting, hope you enjoye!
Which acid you use and what's the concentration and the amount please?
Not sure, I hired that company in the video to do it.

I’m told they have a couple crews that only do this full time. Other crews run the well drilling rig, quite the operation!
What is the depth of your well?
Either 72 or 82’ I don’t recall off the top of my head which one it is
After 55 my well doesn't work that good and there is not much recovery rate going on. I hope yours turns out better.
I’m pretty happy with the results! Thanks for watching
More importantly did you get a discount for fixing their pump? I'm sure you finagled something!
Haha I should have asked for the discount, not sure how they woulda finished the job
Careful man this fracking will open your whole cracks
That’s the idea
I hope that's a open bottom, sure it is now lol.
I'm not familiar with well terminology...but it's cut into bedrock, I would assume the bottom is bedrock.
OUCH..💵💵💵💵💵💵💵
Gotta pay to play! Glad it’s all fixed up now
