Great video loved it I have a suggestion for the new snap snap series do legesy of persia for rostam 1 bavandid and restore persian empire and zoroastrianism He is a decent of the sassanid dynasty and his house I'd a cadet branch of house of sassan
i would say that kingdom lvl holy wars are still better then invasions cuz they give u all the titles of rulers that are not of ur religion. which helps a lot in the long term stability of the realm.
Thats fair! I think this could be really helpful early anyway as getting low house unity is just so easy to do! compared to getting by the sword anyway! Combining both though would be pretty nice for a world conquest!!
@SnapStrategy exactly my thoughts, by the sword will always be OP but can take a while before you can utilize it, this new mechanic for clans is amazing early game! I wonder if the ai will also take advantage of it 🤔
I plan to have my first legacy of persia plathrough to be forming kurdistan as a kursish character and stuff become something of a regional power while playing tall
Nice! I definitely want to try building tall with a clan in the region soon, with the new house unity and tax jurisdictions think it could work really well
my first attempt to use the new clan mode will be kind of a dumb thing, seeing how every game i do russo-kazarian cultures form, i was thinking of making a russo-kazarian culture that is of turkish heritage, and then use the clan invasions to create rum
i just thought of a funny idea with the convincing to join your side: what if you get a hook on the caliph and convince him to be a detractor of the caliph 😂
Can't wait to hop on and check out all the new starts & achievements after work today - I'm most likely going to start in Khorasan or modern-day Turkmenistan, try and revive Zoroastrianism. I always enjoy a very difficult start lol.
The invasion casus belli (specifcally the kingdom level one) is straight up better than the regular holy war for kingdom. In my experience nobody ever helps either side of the war in holy war for kingdom so the one benefit never really applies. However the invade kingdom casus belli allows you to conquer not only the targeted kingdom title; it lets you keep anything else you siege down as well including a whole other kingdom level title if you can manage it. The only casus belli that's better by default is the Mongol invade kingdom variant of it since it also can be used an unlimited amount of times while you have access to it.
not quite straight up better. kingdom holy wars would remove all existing vassals from the conquered lands and you can set up your own dynasty members as vassals. this ensures the greatest amount of stability in the conquered region, and personally more important: a pristine internal de jure border.
@@kgptzac I'm pretty sure invasion does the same thing to every province that you siege down so you could still get more of your own vassals installed.
Something I have noticed is people will try to claim your thrown but at some point they just stop. Now on my 3rd life on a 700 plus counties owned 6 title empirer. Only 1 guy tried, really scared me he had 90% success with 95% chance of not being discovered and months later they just quite the scheme and I still uncovered who it was lol. One of my very distant relatives as usual. But even getting rid of most of the evil/villain like coutiers we still have 5 plus murders schemes going on almost all the time. Typically they don't go through but sometimes it does its just annoying and most of the time like over 90% of the time they arent even trying to kill me. I feel like they removed the court murderer (its still in the game) and just replaced it with constant schemes. Well I commanded everywar with both player heirs. 1 dying at 102 and 2 heir at 114. Never even got wounded till my 3rd heir close to his 30s finally not just wounded but severely injured. I typically have only 1 to 3 rivals. Most of the time I'll have 1 or 0 tho till later. So makes sense why people don't try to murder me. byzantine empire declared clan feud. We became rivals in few months he said let's put our differences aside I agreed and used my brothers claim for his empire title. I have never had a family member get such a amazing claim and wish I got it in my 2nd life but beggers can't be choosers. But with them gone heading into 1100ad the only thing thats going to beat me down now is constantly changing my heir in voting as I grow older to make it go to youngest heir. Fabricating hooks for forced votes, we'll watching my different house cadets murder eachother in my own court. It would be cool if you could declare some type of peace in the court for like 5 or 10 years with a long cooldown or maybe just once per life after you get to a specific point in diplomacy tree. But it dosent increase scheme protection no.... it just decreases the chances of murder schemes popping up. Because at this point in the game it's almost like who ever lives with me they are basically feuding with out even needing to feud or have a rival.if you can't tell it's really annoying, they game already has so many pop ups. I don't need 5 plus schemes that don't even go through most of the time popping up in my face. I guess I could try and get rid of all the planners but that's like over 30% of my courtiers.
I humbly request the Ghurid playthrough be a "Tall" Empire. I'd also love to see a reformed Faith thats super strong. Temporal, Communion, Aniconism, Celebrated Witchcraft. These are just some hopes and a comment hoping it boosts engagement lol. Looking forward to it 🤙🏿🍻
i was planning on forming iberia and using the same family to migrate to iran and do the legacy of persia(idk if i can do it yet, might do it the other way around)
Ash’Ari rulers always have the ability to grant the Caliph Vassals if he is Empire rank. I’m on PS5 and have used this before to get rid of unruly vassals in regions I don’t care about.

So hyped for this DLC. The Intermezzo looks interesting and the new clan changes as well.
I have not played CK3 in a few months due to lack of flavour, but this dlc is defiantly going to get me addicted again

It's stupid. The base game is absolutely flavorless and they just force people to buy dlcs to change it. Fuck paradox.
