@@silkaverage But why on earth did they choose it to represent the UK? Vegemite for Australia is understandable, but Marmite for the UK? They all seem to be familiar with strawberry jam, so maybe marmalade?

marmalade was something I was expecting tbh, was a bit surprised it wasn't featured, but Marmite is probbly the right choice, it's my guilty pleasure watching ppl underestimate the potency of Marmite :) especially when they spread it as thick as nutella, it's more hilarious to watch than paddington bear eating marmalade :)

@@homebodytiger Exactly. Marmite is great when it's spread thinly and with loads of butter. But no one ever does it and hates it and as someone who likes marmite, it makes me a little sad, cause they might've liked it had they have done it that way. I mean, not everyone will like it, since you either love it or hate it, but everyone I see trying it for the first time uses way too much marmite.

I grew up eating it, as a Brit and I love the stuff, but that's because I don't put clumps of it or spread it thickly on bread. People really need to learn that's not the right way. Marmite is definitely bizarre--I love it, but I understand why a lot of people hate it. Concentrated soy sauce is a reasonable description of it. A more pleasant introduction to it is to spread it thinly on buttered toast, slice the toast into 'fingers" ( about an inch wide) and then dip into the yolk of a soft boiled-egg and eat that . Marmite has various B vitamins, so it is healthy. When I've introduced my US friends to Marmite, they all hated it, BUT they really liked "Twiglets" which is a snack of crispy baked whole wheat 'twigs" which have a hint of cheese flavor(!) but are speckled with drops of Marmite it's a healthy snack and great to have with pretty much any kind of alcohol.

All the ladies are wonderful but my favorite is Choi. She just tells it like it is in such an expressive way. She aint shy about her feelings. I'd do definitely do the next taste test with her even if I didn't understand anything she was saying.
