I love how they were so energetic and cracking jokes throughout the entire raid. Being with the same people and doing the same thing for 11 hours is crazy and they seemed to just walk it off and crack jokes
this is how a raid should be, most of the times my team is always arguing for some parts and they always show frustration but we always crack some jokes to make sure everyone stays positive :)
I been they been playing destiny together for 7 years when u have that long of time with people its way way different then getting random off LFG. Alot of people don't understand how much different it is playing with the same team for years and years... I used to play halo competitively and playing with my same 3 friends 24/7 was so much different then playing with 3 different friends. U just get used to others playstyles. Destinys pve is the same way.
Gladd, can you please upload the entire raid with you guys exploring and figuring out everything on day 1 ? I think people would enjoy rewatching the experience all over again.
I can’t wait for raid report to be working again so we can see how many teams cleared this raid. This was my first experience with contest and man it really makes shit difficult

I love this raid and I was here for the whole raid, GG. The thing is I feel that the raid should have had something to do with the triangle ships because it doesn't really make too much sense story wise.
I feel the same way. We have this dark theme with the hive and then randomly Vex is the main threat. Imo Scarlet Keep shoulda been the raid, was really disappointed when i saw it was just an elevator...
@@IGniTo100 The reason the Black Garden was the raid was because the Garden originally had the "Black Heart" or in other words, the heart of the darkness of which the Vex worshiped . (Spoilers) That's why at the end of the Shadowkeep story they show the cutscene in the Black Garden, it's basically the "home" to the darkness itself. I am sure if the Hive continue being a large threat, the Scarlet Keep will become the next Raid location, if not I am sure we'll eventually see a new type of Raid, I am hoping for a "Trails of Nine" designed Raid.
The artifact resonated a signal that points to somewhere in the Black Garden; the Garden is also the birthplace of the black heart, or heart of the darkness, which is what the vex worshiped in the Garden; the black heart & the pyramid ships are physical entities of the darkness so it makes sense they're connected. Additional fun fact there's a statue in the final chest room that resembles the one you get the artifact from
Yeh i realized the same when i shot through a knight’s barrier. I felt so relieved cuz these immunity methods can be really annoying to go against sometimes
This raid is amazing in almost every aspect except for two reasons: the design of the bosses and the snake charmer OST in the final boss fight. Major letdowns for such a beautifully complex raid!
@@tauheed1239 last wish isn't hard at all the only complicated part was vault and that was literally only Day 1 after that the raid was easy AF. Not saying any raid is hard but vault is the easiest encounter in the whole raid once u get Ant and Pen down.
I love the atmosphere of the raid but it doesn't have the same impact as the ones from d1 I personally think the bosses are lacking in any depth lore wise as we have no clue who they are
They were also way more memorable and the scores were so much better. I prefer d1 raids over d2 raids. I don't really like any d2 raid tbh... only decent ones is leviathan and scourge. Last wish is the only good raid in d2 imo. The score is good, the mechanics are fun and the raid is just memorable. Also, riven is the only boss we were told about in game. So thats 1 out of 7 compared to d1s 3 out of 4 that we were told about.

is it me or bungie took it next level with there raids into making simple raids from D1 and puzzling as shit raids in D2 but I still love the game
