    Thank you for this video! I admire the fact that you included your thoughts about how God gave us these bodies, and we should take care of them! I am blessed to have found your video this morning! :)

    The idea of “I messed up this time” can feel very shaming and can spiral into the bingeing mentality. The book Intuitive Eating has changed my life. ♥️

    Eats healthy and exercises for one day...
    Next day *eats junk food, and stays inside in the dark texting 24/7.*

    Love this video!!! It is so easy to feel like "I just blew that meal, I guess the whole day is ruined", or to think "I'll start tomorrow". That is so me!!! I feel confident in being able to combat that because you have given me a new perspective on my body. Although I have always believed that this body isn't mine and know it will remain here on earth, I have never considered it as a gift. Gifted items in my life are most cherished and I take very good care oft hose items. I love the idea of thinking and treating my body the same way. This is definitely much greater motivation than just thinking "I'll look good". Love this so much and cannot express how much this "clicked" with me! Thank you so so much for sharing this!!!

    I think it is great you talk about setting 1 goal at a time. I am also a RD and I tell clients the same thing. I also really liked that you talked about not being so hung up over a slip up. Even as a dietitian you might eat something off your normal routine. It's hard to stop yourself from negativity sometimes. Great video!

    Absolutely love it. I love the part where she said if it's not healthy for your body why are you eating it?

    Truly spoke to me! I really keep hearing this message of self love and how that has to be everyone's starting point for health...I couldn't agree more! 💞

    Motivation is just like the fuel that you put into an automobile, eventually it runs out and when that happens you must refuel. Motivation is extremely powerful because it gives you that extra boost to blast through barriers. The only downside of motivation is the fact that it doesn't last and that you have to proactively do things to replenish it. Fortunately, there's an infinity of techniques that you use to boost your motivational levels... You can create Dream Boards, Read Motivational Quotes, Get a Workout Buddy, Sign a Friendly Contract (not legally binding) that hold you accountable for following through on your clean eating commitments. Just have fun with the process and you'll be just fine. By the way great video!

    I've been looking to make a change in diet for a while as my family has a hard time incorporating healthy choices daily. This helps narrow it down to easily transition without the "make it or break it" feeling. I'll be starting soon, and the first thing to go is sodas.

    Very interesting video. What motivates me is the fact I feel way better when I live a healthy lifestyle. Also: listen to Your body. It will tell You what it needs.
    Love

    Thank you so much for this encouraging video. I feel motivated to eat healthily again! God has given us our bodies and we should take good care of them, just as we take good care of our pets! Take care and God bless!

    I exercise daily but eat horrible! Today I ate a whole bag of chips and 3 ice creams. It really upsets me that I can’t stay motivated to eat healthier. I feel like I have no self control and before I eat it I always think if I should or not but I do anyways.

    You are so right! I've been stuck on that all or nothing mentality for awhile now. Also when I blow it I think well I already blew it like over 200 calories so mine as well really blow it. I hate thinking of food 24/7, very draining. Waves my flag, yes I am an admitted binge eater. Could you please give a couple of quick breakfast ideas that are healthy and filling? I don't like soda and I love salads, two things in my favor. I only like salad with greens in it too, not cucumber or onion or other things. I log all my food on MFP and honestly it keeps me thinking of food all the time such as how much protein do I have left and what do I need to eat next to get to my fiber. Tfs ❤

      +Femmi Girlz Oats are really filling for breakfast! either hot oatmeal or cold overnight oats with yogurt or baked oatmeal.

      I didn't even see this message yet and that's exactly what I had! Instead of butter which I like in my oatmeal I used a teaspoon of coconut, certified organic in my oats. Yeah! :)

      I totally agree with Amber! I love any oats for breakfast, especially overnight oats. I am always in a rush in the morning and they are so easy! If you haven't tried them before, please do! They may help, plus they keep me full all the way to lunch!! Good luck!

    • @FemmiGirlz
      @FemmiGirlz 9 лет назад

      Thank you Kierston, yes I've tried them but I don't like cold oats so it didn't do much for me. Also tried steel cut oats in the crock pot over night and I must have done something wrong, they tasted terrible even with cinnamon and sugar.

    • @airalyn.
      @airalyn. 9 лет назад +1

      you could try heating your overnight oats in the microwave, i've always liked them cold but there's no reason you can't heat them. Baked oatmeal is great too (pumpkin baked oatmeal is my fave!!) because you can make a big pan of it and portion it out and then reheat later. It's like breakfast cake! i usually heat it up and pour a little milk on mine to re-hydrate it but my husband likes it cold or warm w/o milk.
