I just watched this today , and I have recently become an official member of the Adventist church and I moved to Manitoulin 4 years ago as I felt compelled to move here , my wife couldn’t find work in the city and an opportunity popped up on manitoulin, I actually bought and old church which is now my home, hehe , at the time God had started working on my heart but I wasn’t converted yet, I joined a local pentacostal church and only after studying the bible and finding the truth about the Sabbath it led me to the Adventist Church , I am currently a member in Sudbury but I am trying to establish a local Sda church , if any members that came here to evangelize still have contact with people that were interested please direct them towards me. Thank you , God works miracles , and I know that he directed me here for a reason, Praise the Lord

What is the big deal about sabbath.....???? Jesus is Lord ...is spirit is my guide and people are actually working during that event....looks like no grace all religious deeds ...by the way you are still my brothers and sisters Love you all be bless

The Sabbath is the Lord's day according to Exodus 20:8-10. The Lord sanctified the 7th day, hallowed it and states to "remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Six days thou shalt not work", etc. The "work" God is referring to his one not doing his own work. The work for the Lord is sacred and hence is not violating the Sabbath commandment. Isaiah 58:13 states "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own word then shall delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the heights of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it." Revelation 14:12 states, " Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Isaiah 66:23 states "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord."

For me what matters is if you are worshipping God in truth and spirit. You can worship God at anytime. Jesus said am.the Lord of Sabbath when they Pharisees are accusing JESUS disciple by violating Sabbath day but answered them that the Lord of Sabbath is here. I believe if you are worshipping Jesus you are worshipping the Lord of Sabbath. JESUS is greater than Sabbath .if you worship Jesus in truth and In spirit you have fufill the law of Sabbath in him. Anytl day you worship God he accepts the worship

    • @TeStOs78

When you ask what is the big deal with the sabbath, you're not asking what's the big deal with a man made commandment or denominational tradition, you're professing that the spirit is your guide on one hand and on the other hand, you're asking the Lord what's the big deal with his commandment. So you're actually saying that the Spirit which is truth and one with the Father and Son guides you away from the very truth of God, his law. And that can't happen!!! If you oppose the sabbath, you might as well question why you should keep the other 9 commandments so I hope you can see you dilemma and ultimate down fall. Maybe you're guided by a spirit but not the Holy Spirit, for their are many spirits. This is truth,
      1 John 5:
"2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
      .
      .
      .
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."
When you reject the sabbath and keep the others, you're still a transgressor of the law. When you reject his sabbath truth, you reject the perpetual sign of God's eternal covenant with man. You reject his sanctifying power through obedience in a world of many gods, the devil being the chief one of them all. James says,
      James 2:
"10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."

@@ugodavid1633 For you, is the error of your own thinking that is dangerous. The bible says,
      Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)
"12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
How can you quote scripture and not discern what it means unless you're void of the Spirit which is truth. You said what matters is worshiping God in Spirit and truth, thus we know God is a spirit and we can't please him in the carnal flesh, so one must be born of the Spirit and must obey the word which is truth. But how can you miss the most important point to serving God, that worshiping God is obedience to God!!! How can you profess to worship the Lord and miss that?? Of course we worship God at anytime but when God says do, we obey. If God says honor your parents, we don't say we will honor them sometimes. When he says have no other gods, we don't say sometimes. How is rebellion against his commandment a profession of faith in worshiping him?? A deception from the devil!!!
When God tested the faith of Abraham in Gen 22 and told him to offer Isaac, what does the scripture say,
"5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you."
We can read that line as Abraham saying, I and the lad will go yonder and obey, and come again to you. Abraham perfected righteousness by OBEDIENCE, the opposite of what caused sin upon the world and removed man from the tree of life in the beginning. Abraham didn't believe God on one hand and said he wasn't going to do what God commanded him on the other. That is what you're professing right now!!! Jesus said he is Lord of the sabbath because it was Him who created the world and it was Him who gave the commandments to Moses. He wasn't the human Christ back then, but the all divine God of heaven. The Lord never gave Moses a law which says it is unlawful to do good on the sabbath, it was a man made precept by the hypocrite Pharisees. Christ never broke any of the commandments, he was fully obedient, thus, by doing so, he could redeem us as the lamb without blemish and the perfect and ultimate sacrifice for our sins in order to ransom us from the penalty of the law, which is death. The apostle Paul writes,
      Rom 8:
"3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
So why are we born again after the Spirit, so that we can be imparted the power to obey God's law, his commandments, for we can't keep it in the carnal flesh, but when we're born again, we can obey God in Spirit and in truth. If disobedience removed us from God and the tree of life, then obedience is what will bring us back into harmony with Him and gave us right to the tree of life. Hence, this is how the saints who overcome in the last days are described,
      Revelation 14:12(KJV)
"12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

@@ugodavid1633 When we worship in truth and in Spirit, we worship in accordance to the Word of God, for His Word is truth and we are sanctified by the truth of God's Word. (John 17:17). It's in the Word of God that God sanctifies the Sabbath and makes it holy. When we keep God's Word, we by faith, allow God to sanctify us just as He sanctified the Sabbath.
And I gave them my sabbaths, that they should be for a sign between me and them, that they should know that I am the Lord that sanctify them.
      (Ezekiel 20:12)
Just as we don't need to see angels flying all around on the Sabbath day to believe that it's God's holy day, we too, don't need to have halos on our heads to believe that God sanctifies us🤭
It's all BY FAITH; believing that He is, and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)😊
