    Thank you for posting. It's nice to see a train video that shows the ENTIRE train instead of mindless runbys of just the engines. The look of trains definitely changed since then.🙂 all the fallen flags...

    Thanks for uploading. Modern day observers will notice solid use of the Porter Branch. During the 1980s, it seemed most Conrail westbound manifests exited the Chicago Line at Porter. Around the late 80s/early 90s, however, most of the Branch traffic began staying on the mainline. And today it's barely used.

      Thank you very much. I wish I could have made it down there back then. I live 2 hours away and had a crappy car. The video cameras back then were very expensive also.
