- 4 months from release we take a look at the things that plague this game. WWE 2k24 continues to be one of the best examples of why yearly releases are pointless other than for a money grab, there is no consumer benefit to this game being a yearly release if it's own developers can't keep up with the dev cycle. now watch live as my game completely kills itself and dies.

I’ve personally had more issues with 2K24 than I ever did with 2K20. My favourite part about the games is community creations and the creation suite and this year it is completely broken.

The thing is it didn’t effect all CAWs. I had CAWs of Adam Cole and Sid who’s hair was fine but Tama Tonga and Andrades hair was fucked up.

When it comes to "download is failed" from CC, it's not an error or bug. It was done by developers for purpose in order to prevent people from downloading modded characters that 2K can sell as a card in Myfaction. It was one of the first thing that they did since game launch. And the next step was to create an "update" that will prevent from changing the hair or makeup of original superstars, then they found the way to "fix" those superstars that was already downloaded by player. They just don't want you to get for free something that they can sell to you
I don’t doubt this, in my previous video on this I tried to dl punk and WM40 at the release times and this was seemingly the case. Really disappointing if that’s the case, sabotaging your own product to make a few extra bucks but killing it on the process. They could just as easily support the modding community in that case similar to other games who let their community carry the game post release like they try to do every year, the modding community seems to want to support this game but are continually messed with by devs who can’t even figure out how PNGs images work. but they don’t support that either, so you either pay or you don’t play.

Why would your CM Punk model be bald?
The in-game characters all have hair (unless they are meant to be bald eg SCSA), meaning Punk has hair.
Unless you have downloaded a model you are not meant to have, like a modded version or a CAW ripped off a MyFaction model.
If you want alt attires, upload the model, move the clothes to the in-game model and you have them with hair.
I am not a lot of the supposed problems a lot of you have. I must have a special copy.

Its a shame. The first month was really promising and even gave the game the "best one of the franchise " phrases from people.
Another problem that surprisingly not a lot of platforms are talking about with the community creations is when you go to download a creation, the game will crash. This has happened every single time. People are also having problems when they try to edit or delete a creation as well.
Mine works perfectly well I've never seen any crash when downloading a caw

The only issue I have noticed is that the hair is missing on some CAWs.
Thank you for this video. I didn't bother to get the game this year and stuck with 2K23. After 2K20, I stopped pre-ordering these games and give it until at least a few patches are out to see where the game is by then. I've been debating on picking up 2K24 since I assume it either is or will be on sale soon. You've proven that 2K24 is a good one to skip altogether and save my money.

Community creations has always been the biggest appeal to me, this game has nothing but glitched and damaged things from the community. It’s pointless to even download anything if it’s just going to crash your game or the caw is bald or has logos misplaced in random spots like on their face. Also, the very long loading time and the constant crashing, I very rarely played this game. I’m back playing WWE 2K 23 and I’m happy with sticking up until next year because I don’t want to give 2K anymore money.
When 2k24 players are willing to play 2k19 again says a lot about the quality of modern games, it’s nonexistent.
The game is virtually unplayable

Once a player has invested a decent amount of time in the creations, and your what content becomes corrupted or deleted, you've lost the player forever.

I think I'm done with 2k24, 2k in general. I'm not gonna continue fixing things while playing, to then find another issue along the way.

We can't edit eyes on all the Create-A-Superstar...that issue became a problem three patches ago. Three patches later and I feel like they're going to fuck up Create-A-Superstar even more.

Surprised you didn't make this video earlier. The my faction stuff thing can be easily unlocked with the META tool and Hide file, making My Faction completely worthless. There's also been a glitch with caws faces where you can't seem to move eyes, this glitch has been around since the ECW dlc update.
Yeah the eye morph bug been waiting for them to fix that issue I can not make caws because of it
The Meta tool is hidden behind a patreon paywall as well correct? I’ve looked into it before but it seems a lot of modding is this way
I didn't bother with the game this year but, in 2K23 and previous games, people usually make mods to unlock the MyFaction stuff without using META. It's a little more work, but I've modded 2K23 pretty heavily and never paid a dime. META is more convenient but unless people refuse to make the same mods they have in previous years, it can all still be done for free.
Bro literally was talking about how broken universe can be/boring earlier today and some people was telling that was okay because that's how 2k wanted us to play it then it went into how the only feedback 2k takes are from casuals and if the casuals were find with it then 2k would be too like bruhhh we are cooked😭😭😭
Thank you for this video. Very accurate about the situation with WWE 2k24. I think the only way 2K is going to be motivated to fix the game is to gather all content creators and stop or take down all content. Also rally them to encourage not to buy any upcoming games. Any other ideas?

Man this scares me alot.. I didn't experience what you showed with downloading CC yet, and if anything happens to my Universe I would straight up quit the game. I don't have time and the patience to do that all over again. oh and MF is the scummiest mode I ever seen especially after nerfing both Collector Level (Amethyst) Sheamus and Gunther, removing their "Sting Like a Bee" badges. Like seriously wtf.. I hope they get sued for that.
This game reminds me of 2k20... I bet 2k25 will be even worse...
We need Yukes back and they should make an SVR type game with modern roster, season mode, GM mode, and story creator

It really is unfortunate so many people are having so many issues.
Luckily I haven't had many, but of course all I do is make CAWs (download 1-2 here and there) and just play "play" mode, showcase for the unlocks and MyRise, I haven't touched MyUniverse so maybe that's where the bulk of issues come from? I haven't tried to download many Arenas either
The problem for the game devs being lazy is that they don't get criticism.
When 2k24 released, all i saw was "This game is a better version than 2k23 and 2k22"

The pin timed system is worse than 2k19 pin system.
In legend difficulty, Even if you are 99 ovr wrestler, u still do worse dmg than the opponent who has 79 ovr 😂
Meanwhile, in 2k19 Legend difficulty only affected the enemy AI. It never messed with damage.
I think 2k pays up every game reviewer who reviews their game cuz how tf a half assed game like this have high rating lol😂
They do get criticism. All the time. They just don't take everything thrown at them. I would go on their twitter page and see them get DESTROYED. The real problem is, they need more time to work on this shit before they release it. This every year release shit aint It. Based on my experience, when a 2K game gets close to its end cycle before the next one comes out, its as "complete" as it gets vs when it comes out.
2K24 was the first time I got a 2K game on release and I saw most things people were talking about first hand. Some I never got a chance to experience so I got lucky. 2K22 and 23 I didnt run into many issues with because I got it very late when patches were already out to fix things that broke the game. I might just follow that formula from now on.
But yeah, some reviewers do get paid to bullshit. This was a thing that people were talking about a lot back then when things weren't adding up.
@@reivunrantington9425 Personally, I’ve been enjoying the game. But I do get annoyed that it takes 2 or three finishers just to beat someone with a lower score.
But what I’ve noticed after several matches is, once you get the second finisher done and they kick out, all one needs to do is pin them again and you can win.
I’m also annoyed at how short the matches can be. I love wrestling longer matches in the video games. They should have brought back that slider that gives you three options for the match experience.
Other than that, I have no problem with the game. I never used MyFaction and I got the Deluxe Edition to get all the wrestlers I wanted anyway and the season pass.
I am also ticked off that instead of giving us Lola Vice and several other NXT roster talent, they give us Pat and his friends.
And if it gets worse, I can always go back to the older games. Another positive that I can say about 2K24 is that they brought back the ramp camera from the old games.
I didn't even bother buying it for that reason, plus all the issues 23 had as well from the start. It just felt like a $75 QOL update.

Damn dude I am so sorry that this happened to you. Honestly, I have given up on 2K. WWE 2K 24 is the last game that I will buy from them because I literally don’t have a lot of fun with it. I hate the controls of this game, the bugs and glitches just continue to exist in the game. I understand that crashes happened sometimes, that’s perfectly normal. Shit happens but these crashes and glitches are just too much. I have experienced the same issue that you have as well where I am editing a wrestler and all the sudden a certain attire or clothing option that I will make my character, bald, or just practically shave their head down to a shorter hairstyle, which is not OK at all whatsoever. It feels like 2K has gotten worse because I didn’t even experience that type of issue with the last game if I’m not mistaken. I’m glad they brought back some of the match types that we have wanted back but it’s just not enough anymore. I don’t experience the same type of fun factor that I do still playing WWE 2K 19 a video game that is almost 6 years old. If I’m not mistaken, that is not OK. I understand that some people do enjoy this game and I am glad that people do like it but I just never feel that 2K have offered me the game that I want that is fun for me. I just don’t play WWE 2K 24 enough to warrant me to buy their next game. I have just lost faith in this company to be able to give me what I want. They need to boost up the amount of custom images that you can use because I was trying to make an AEW roster inside of the universe mode of the current WWE roster as well too, and they’re just not enough images to be able to get the pay-per-view and the television shows, as well as the wrestlers themselves, it’s just not enough. And the fact that they did not give you more character slots just truly shows that they want to do only the bare minimum. There was a time where a 100 character slots was absolutely amazing. But it’s a credit to the community creations because they are so talented that no longer is 100 slots enough. We need more than that to be able to experience more and more fun with this game. But it’s just not enough.
Once again, I’m so sorry that you went through that it is so frustrating that all of that happened to you. I can’t even imagine what you must’ve felt going through that I’ve dealt with the same process of trying to download something on community creations and it just canceling the download entirely , I had that same issue in the last game too. While the graphics are cool and nice it’s just not enough. I wish you could customize the controls because maybe then it would actually be a little bit more fun for me to play because I’ve just never enjoyed how 2K changed the controls Call me old-fashioned if you will, but I just prefer the old style. There’s a phrase if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. WWE 2K 19 was not broken. Heck despite the flaw WWE 2K 20 was the control on that was at least a little bit easier for me. but that’s all I’ll say I apologize for the long speech but this is the second video I’ve seen today of someone actually criticizing 2K for the games and it does make me a little bit. Happy to know that I’m not alone with the dissatisfaction of 2K and the WWE video games moving forward

I recently purchased a MyFaction card, and the game went silent but showed the WWE logo loading on bottom right corner. I waited around half an hour but nothing happened so I tried turning off the PS4 with the home button but anything I did on my controller was futile & nothing would happen on screen. So I powered off my PS4 on the console itself. I loaded the game back up & all my saved in-game data from 2K24 was gone, so all attires & logos I had are now all gone. Point is be careful when trying to purchase individual MyFaction cards or just don’t 😅.
It's true, online sucks and the patches are only for my faction😢
There’s literally so much to do in the game. Myfaction is actually super fun and challenging. Mygm is super fun too along with Universe mode if you’re creative enough
I’ve had to make 3 new universes because since Saturday every single one has had the infinite loading screen bug happen straight after a match. Superstar mode is totally broken.
Not sure why the WWE hasn’t moved on from 2K and went to EA or Ubisoft.

I noticed a hair glitch if two created wrestlers have the same hair or beard the color changes to one of them or it just is gone. It kind of sucks.

I can’t even edit my Created wrestlers. Since 1.11 the game crashes as soon as I try to go into edit create a wrestler. So they are all stuck bald or with iMovies copied over their faces and bodies

WWE 2k14 clears 2k24 especially with 30 years of wrestlemania and you can add custom music.
Idk..I ain’t had no issues with the game. My only issue is the bell rings as soon as the character taps. Even though irl they take a few seconds. Also Baron Corbin’s deep six does zero damage and has no sound effect if you do the pin combo. Otherwise I have zero issues 🤷🏻♂️.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I lost everything except for the wrestlers unlocked. I still have them. It’s weird because first I lost them and then I just got them back a minute later I had the ones that I unlocked in my faction and speaking of my faction I didn’t lose anything so I still have the stuff from my faction so I didn’t lose anything there so yeah the game is frozen or broken, but hopefully they’re fixing it right now

Has 2K always had this bad reputation with other games like their NBA 2K franchise or other franchises that they are in charge of because it feels like they really don't care about the wrestling games they make even though they have one of the biggest license out there that they almost lost because of 2K20 and I feel like if they don't make some major changes soon to the next game they are in danger of losing again in my opinion

Hair isnt broken. They got rid of double hair. You have to manually put hair on them now
Some hair are mods so you can't put back the hair you originally had used
@@damienwells435Batista ‘10 for me. It’s bald due to the glitch and it registers as an actual member on the roster so I can’t add the hair. It just looks like a goatee regular Batista now.
