What I want more than anything else is an online career mode, something like FS Economy but integrated into the game. Give me a reason to fly so that I can feel like my flights are not just sightseeing trips but in fact are done for a purpose. Allow me to work my way up from hired pilot to owning planes to running some form of airline / transport company. Make a dynamic-ish economy where we feel like we are not alone in the game world but flying with others.

@@AntoniosSpiliotopoulos Yes, but there's many people that dislike talking to people. Would be cool, if we could share jobs with the community they can do for some cash. Means there would always be new mission for the entire community to fly.

👍👍Thanks for the update! I don't know if anyone has asked for this in the upcoming 2024 but one thing sorely missing in MSFS is the ability to exit the aircraft on the ground and 'walk around' exploring the scenery a la X-Plane 11. This included the ability to walk up and down steps, etc. It was also great for doing preflights. Asobo's external drone camera is handy for some things, but not for realistic exploring. Oh well, here's hoping.

Couldn't agree more. It may not be hardcore flight simming but it's great fun, and if you already implement all kinds of missions you might as well implement ground exploration. Well worth it now that the scenery looks this gorgeous.

Looking forward to 2024, but have suspicion that we will draw the short straw on 2020. They will likely face many new, as well as ongoing, issues that will monopolize their time and effort.

How long can we use fs 2020? Will they abandon servers and when? I expect at least another 6 years because they said 2020 would have a 10 year support

I really hope they'll add a solid Career Mode and not only Missions. I'd like to have an Airline with real Players flying for me :)

It's annoying to hear that development of the current sim is slowing down (can it even get slower?!). The latest WU XVI Caribbean update says there's 3 new bush trips, but, althoiugh they show in the Caribbean update as being there, installed and up to date, they don't appear in the Bush Trip Menu page, and nor anywhere else! The MS FS2020/Asobo team say they're "Stumped" and have no idea as to why they don't show!! Very helpful - NOT!
Do you Aus simmer, or anyone reading this have any idea what may be the issue? My community folder is empty btw, and all of the 'new' Bush Trip aircraft are installed and up to date, and all versions of each aircraft are installed.

Yes mate there is tutorial in the sim, as well as some 3rd party options.
will "2024" be a full game you need to buy again for 80-100 bucks? Or just like a big Patch/Upgrade for "2020" for a smaller amount?
It won’t be discounted, it’s just like MW3, people who owned MW2 didn’t get a discount for MW3.

I have a Series S and MFS 2020 is very well optimized. it basically runs at 1080, 30 fps, more or less average graphics level, but it is excellently optimized and the pad configured in a comfortable and intuitive way. On Series if you can't buy a high-end PC, Series X allows you to fully enjoy Flight Simulator. Consider that in FS 2024 they will even add store for community mods, career, missions (similar to FSX). FS 2024 will also be included on XBox Game Pass on day one. a greeting.
2024 is going to be a huge fuck up just like 2020.
It’s not exactly a fuck up, the game is somewhat broken because of the coding limitations, 2024 would have limitations a lot smaller so it won’t be such a fuck up.

I am looking forward to MSFS2028 already! Maybe they will use AI to make the world much more realistic and accurate. At least they could use it to add realistic roads so you can drive around in a car. Bing Streetside could become 3d...

Apparently the new turn-around time for an MS Flight Sim is four years. Prepare for your brand new MSFS 2024 to be dropped like a brick in 2028.

What an unqualified statement. You clearly have no idea. Of course this is just an eye-candy presentation. Still, MS Flight Simulator is the industry standard for private aviation enthusiasts when it comes to flight sims.
That’s still the old FSX engine which brings a pathetic ATC, a pathetic Flight Planner, iper repetitive and basic clouds, DX11 forced and camouflaged by DX12, stutter festival even with top notch HW and the same scarse level of simulation plenty of INOP buttons
747 is Broken, it shuts off in mid air now after su15. Xbox is no longer good man…
The a320 V2 is also broken #cantenjoymdfs2020onxboxanymore
